Chapter 4: Gave birth

Gave birth.

I wanted to knock his teeth off, that grin he sent me was very annoying and everytime he does it he'll look at me, like he's fishing for my reaction.

"Let me go, Ashton!" I yelled, trying to open the car door beside me, but unfortunately it wouldn't bulge. I'm only human after all, a tiny one may I add.

"Sorry Erica, Alpha's order." He said slightly laughing. "Arg! Why? Can't he just be happy that I'm far away? And why use my bestfriend' s boyfriend? You guys don't know how to play nice huh?" I scrunched my nose as I speak.

He just chuckled and leaned on his chair, "Sometimes I think the Goddess of Moon is playing with us. Paring us with really difficult human and-" But I cutted him off immediately.

"Difficult?  Human? Oh shut up! I ain't difficult!  That alpha of yours is! Thinking that he'd kill my baby because he didn't want it-"

"Well that's not on me. But he said he regretted it in that instant." He snapped, I suddenly felt I should shut up and try hearing him out.

"My mate. She's human. She's really nice, fucking adorable and she have this shitty class with me in a course I'm taking. We were paired by our teacher to work on this project so she invited me over to her apartment, then suddenly this man pop out from her bedroom. She said he's her boyfriend, for the past fucking three years!" Then he stopped to take a breath.

"That minute I just wanna rip the guys throat and take my mate with me but I can't. I don't wanna scare her off." He added,  he looks like he's in a lot of pain. Like he's carrying the weight of the whole world on his shoulders.

"May I ask w-who is she?" I asked in a quiet voice. "Kris. Your bestfriend." What the fudge? "You're joking right?" I yelled in disbelief.  "Why would I joke about this matter?" He snapped.

"Beta, we uhm-we suddenly ran out of gas." The driver announced.  This is my chance I'm gonna jump once he opens the door. The driver went to find some gas as he was ordered by Ashton.

"Oh no you won't." He said smirking. I rolled my eyes. I forgot he's werewolf, but can he really read my mind? I thought only mates could do that?

"I can read everyone else's mind." He said shrugging.  Oh. "Yeah. Oh." He said smiling.

"Stop thinking of random things Erica! That won't work!" He yelled but somewhat he's laughing.

I just need to get out of here. Thinking of random things may distract him.

"Ouch!" I yelled. What the hell is happening?

"Your water bag just broke!" He yelled disgusted.  "Don't be a big baby! Help me! It hurts." I cried.

"Oh fuck. The Alpha's gonna fucking kill me." He said nervously.
