That night was a long painful night for Victoria. She was knocked out by the wolf, but why would it knock her out but not kill and rip her up like an animal would? It just didnt make sense. She was up all night trying to make sense of that moment. She twisted and turned in her bed struggling to sleep, her head was aching but that didnt stop her from wondering. After what seemed like years, the pain along with her drifted away into a deep sleep. As her body relaxed she took a deep grateful breath and pondered on what will happen the next day. The moment the dreams just pushed through, she heard vicious scraping on the wooden front door. From a relaxed hearth, suddenly came a panicked atmosphere. She could feel and the adrenalin kick in. The thumping of the blood in her neck and head where almost painful, like they were about to burst. She had chocies, wich both lead to death in a way. Her choices were; hide in a cupboard, or go straight down and face that beast herself instead of letting time drag it slowly away to... Well death. She didnt want to be a scaredy cat so she decided to face the monster herself like a brave hero. As she leaped down the stairs silently she reach the last bit of stairs and she immediately regretted her entire existence... She pounced down the last step and that very moment the scrapping stopped. She slithered soundlesly along the wooden floor trying to be as quiet as possible. She was about to open the door to the main hall where the the entrance is, but she heard a new sound, a crunch and a rip of skin and bone. She eased open the door, she felt her heart breaking out of her ribs. The door was silent to her luck, she tip toed over to the kitchen where the strange horroristic noise was coming from when a sound echoed through the plain empty hall, a squeek, a squeek of a floorboard, a squeek of a floorboard made by her...
Victoria was stunned on the spot, roots glueing her to the ground. The crunching of bone stopped too and was now turning into a small vibration through the air getting louder and louder until it was a proper frightening growl. Victoria held her breath waiting as every second seemed like a year. She saw a faint shadow made by the moonlight, moving slowly out of the kitchen. Its fur sticking upwards, its long teeth dripping with blood, altoghether, like a demonic dog.
As her mind raced, every breath she took felt like swords stabbing and piercing through her throat as she grew scarder and scarder. She panicked as the demon creature gritted its bloody teeth and growling at her from only a few paces away. She tore her feet of the wooden planked floor and steadily took a few steps backwards, hoping that it would show the creature she was retreating. But no, it just made the situation worse, it showed she gave up and she was all the werewolf's. As it bristled its fur up towards the moon it gave an angry bark that echode throughout the hall along with the soft but horroistic growl.
The only way out was to die or risk her life on doing the craziest most foolish thing on earth, tricking it. Of course she knew it was a wolf; fast sensitive and vicious, but it was worth a try. She eyed the dimly lit kitchen, with shiny deep red blood oozing from the dead turkey the wolf dragged in, making measurments lining up her jump out the window... And she sparng, the opposite way. That was the trick, well supposed to be, to make the creature think she will jump through to the kitchen but instead going for the main door, but as she expected, it was smart in a flash the werwolf leaped at her diving through the air. She smashed into the floor bruised and scratched, but she had other thungs to worry about. She hopped up and sprinted her way to the frint door smashing it open. As she ran out into the cool stinging rainy dawn, her eyes stung frim the rain, large drops splashing onto she face. Into the forest she went.
