Chapter 18

CHAPTER 18

Jace P.O.V

It has been 2 months since Summer’s accident and she still hasn't open her eyes. I feel  guilty

because after all it was my punch that knock her out. I didn’t want to she was my mate after all but

she got in the way when I was about to punch Andrew. He was being a jerk to Stephanie (my friend

since 5) , she didn’t deserve that. Yeah she did sleep with me and I sleep with her but it was

because she didn’t believe she had a mate and my mate cheated on me. Yeah you heard me when I

heard the news that Summer cheated on me my heart ripped to pieces. There I was trying to save

her life almost losing my own so that she could run away with another he-wolf. I guess I was deep

into thought that I didn’t notice when Andrew came in.

“Did something happen?” I asked quickly.

“No, I just wanted to let you know all your stuff are ready so you guys could leave tomorrow

morning.” As time pass we all learn to get together. Andrew wasn’t my best buddy but we weren’t

enemies either. 

“Thank you, and remember to contact be as soon as she wakes up.” 

“Yeah don’t worry about it.” with that he left towards the door.

“Wait, before you go are  you sure that you don’t wanna keep Stephanie before we leave.”  he

looked deep in thought maybe he would reconsider? 

“STOP TALKING ABOUT ME LIKE IM A ITEM THAT YOU CAN SELL OR GIVE AWAY” tears rolled

down her cheeks and she ran away. Andrew’s wolf looked ready to come to surface. That at a point

he thought he was gonna fight me but he just nodded and left. 

It was getting dark so I climb the 3 story house to my room right next to Summer’s where they had

here all this time.  I made sure that my suitcase was pack, all my things where ready before I went

over to Summers room. Opening it very carefully. There on the bed laid my beautiful mate. If she ever

woke up I promised her that I would never leave her ever again even thought she cheated on me. I

sat on the edge of the bed and played with her hair.

“Baby I’m leaving for a while. I have important pack business to handle and unfortunately I can’t

move you because the doctor said it can harm you.”

I tooked a deep breath before contuning.

“I will miss you and wish that you soon wake up so we can be together. So I can hold you and tell

you that even after all these years I haven’t been able to forget you. I guess I never will because your

my mate and were destine to be together. I love you.”

I was crying for many reasons. I know that alpha’s aren’t suppost to look weak but my mate was

almost dead, she left me and I was an idiot to let her go.

Something caught my eyes I saw Summer’s hand twiched.

“I loo--vvve you too.” I looked up to see her bright blue eyes shine with so much love for me. 

“Your awake, you woke up”  I grin my mate will live with me.

“Doctor, doctor” I hurry to the door where people where now forming.

“What’s wrong?” I was suprised by this sight Andrew was holding Stephanie’s waist. Wow shoker.

“Summer woke up, we need the doctor.” thats all he needed to get away from Stephanie and ran into

Summer’s room. I quickly follow because someone had already called for the doctor.

“Summer” Andrew ran to her side. I growled telling him that she was mine he didn’t even looked

though. While she just rolled her eyes smiling.

“Jace can I talk to you?” Stephanie asked. I looked toward her, her eyes looked sad. 

“Can it wait I wanna be with my mate right now.” I took a look toward Summer to see jealousy in her

eyes. I didn’t want her to feel that way. Soon the Sophia came in.

“No, I can’t it real important” in looked down at her she looked close to tears.

“I need to check her so everyone needs to get out.” we all nodded and left but I quickly went to kiss

her cheek. When I was outside I tapped Stephanie’s shoulder.

“What happend?” I asked her.

“Can we talked somewhere more private?” she quickly added.

“Just get it over with Stephanie, or ill tell him.” Andrew? What was he talking about.

“Right, well Jace remember how I told you Summer ran away with another he-wolf?” I quickly

nodded.

“Well she didn’texactlyranawaywithanotherhe-wolf” she said it so fast I didn’t understand.

“What?”

“Summer never left you for anyone what Rex told you at first was the truth his beta side made him do

it.” at that point I wanted to kill her. I missed life with my mate because of a lie, I almost lost her. I bet if

Stephanie didn’t find her mate she would have never told me. My wolf was taking over so I quickly

headed towards Summer’s room. I need my mate next to me.
