Ch.2||You named your sandwich Luchenzo?

I walked down the stairs with my arms crossed infront of my chest. I was silently praying that my mother would let me have a 'sleep over' at Vern's house with the boys.

My mother was pretty strict when it came to sleepovers. She didn't like me sleeping anywhere else than her own house.

  I quietly peeked through the door that was placed in between the hallway and the livingroom. I stook my tongue out in hopes of not falling over, or tripping over something.

"You don't get it darling" I heard my mother say to my dad. I frowned and moved closer towards the livingroom.

"It's going to be hard for her, she's seventeen for God's sake!" I heard my dad practically yell at my mom. "She wants to have fun during the Summer" He said.

My mom heavily sighed and stomped her beautiful heels on the marble floor. "We don't have a choice, I don't want her to lack in school" My mom said.

I was getting very confused, what the heck were they talking about. I decided to reveal myself to them. I crossed my arms infront of my chest again and slowly walked towards them with a frown planted on my face.

"What's up?" I asked the adults infront of me.

  "Nothing honey" My mom tried to cover up before I saw my dad rolling his eyes. "No, it's not nothing Hails" My dad said, making my mom angrily shove his shoulder.

"Can you guys please stop acting like you're twelve, damn" I said as I closed my eyes and took a couple of steps back, slowly moving away from the bickering adults.

"Hailey, your mom wants you to go to summer school"  My dad said.

"What? What? What?" I asked as I heard the word school.

School equals prison.

Prison equals Hell.

Hell is well, Hell.

I don't think so.

"Answer me!" I said again as I crossed my arms infront of my chest and puffed a strand of hair out of my face.

"You'll be leaving, in two weeks" My mother said with a no emotion showing look on her face.

"Dad?!" I said as I gave him a pleading look. I pouted my lips and started to slightly jump up and down putting my hands together and furrowing my eyebrows.

"Uhmm..." My dad trailed of as he looked at me with a distraught look on his face.

"Please please please" I started to whimper as I got onto my knees. Literally begging him to stop my mother.

"Dad come on! I'm literally on my knees" I yelled with my hands up in the air. I probably looked like a lunatic but I didn't care.

"Uhmmm.." My dad started again. My right eye started to twitch as I slowly stood up with my small hands balled up into tight fists. My dad's eyes widened and so did my moms.

"Oh no" My mother said. My dad looked at her with a frightened look on his face. "What?" He immediately asked looking back and forth between me and my mom.

"She's doing the eye twitch, don't fall for it" She said, still looking me in the eyes.

"Uh. Uh... I can't do this anymore" My dad nearly yelled as he got out of the livingroom and immediately ran to the kitchen.

   Fatass.

With my eye still twitching I slumped down and decided to give up. "Okay whatever" I said as my mom smirked in satisfaction.

  I turned on my heel and walked over to one of our couches. I grabbed one of the baby blue colored pillows and let out a scream of frustration in it.

"And here look, I brought Luchenzo" Vern said as he flashed us a toothy smile. I stared at him for a couple of seconds. "You named your sandwich Luchenzo?" I asked.

"No. My sandwich is Luchenzo" Vern stated with a smal frown on his face. I wiggled my eyebrows and nodded.

"Well, when are we going?" Gordie asked us with a impatient look on his face. "Whenever we're ready" Chris answered.

I shrugged. "I don't care when we're going to be honest, i'm just really suprised that my mom actually let me sleepover" Teddy nodded in agreement. "I didn't expect it either Hails"

"It's half past five" I stated as my eyes widened when I looked at the small clock that was hanging onto the wooden walls of the small treehouse.

"Sooo..." Chris trailed off. I looked back at him with a 'seriously dude' expression and shook my head. "That means that if you guys want to go we should probably leave now." I stated.

Their eyes widened in realisation. "Oh yeah that's right" Gordie said as he stood up and dusted off his pants. "Shall we go then" Teddy laughed.

"Okay, let's go" Vern excitedly said as I smiled and took Chris' hand, quickly climbing down the stairs with him.

Omg people that was so short.

This is just a small filler chapter you know what i mean, you guys wanted me to update so i did. Even though this chapter is very short i hope you'll enjoy

The reason why it took me a while to update this is bc ive been busy with my other books and school is starting in less then a week for me so, i cri.

By the way i havent read this through so sorry for any mistakes! Pls point them out so i can correct them bc i know its hella annoying.
