Alice pov...

Night of the ball....

My grandparents got a limousine for us since tonight was a very special night for the host of the Ball. I didn't really know what the ball was about I knew it was important to my grandparents that I went. As we got to the ball it was in a famous hotel the owners daughter name was Princess. She went to High school with me back in New York. She was very famous here her parents both loved her unliked my parents. Thinking about it I felt like I wanted to cry then I felt someone hand on my back rubbing it. I knew it was my best friends. Let's go I told them the inside of the hotel was amazing. It was so beautiful everyone eyes turned on me I could hear people whispering about me. I didn't pay them any thought I came here because of my grandparents. Chris rush up to me and swing me around and bowed down in front of me on one knee and I laughed he was so crazy. He got up and kissed Trichelle she just laughed and hugged him. I Walked away from the group to get some wine. Which I really needed after that crazy stunt Chris just pulled. I turned around and there in front of me was Princess she hugged me tight. I couldn't breathe I felt like she was sucking all the air out of me. I try to get her to let go but she started to cry. That suddenly someone rush up to her and she left me go " your going to kill her from hugging her so tight" I heard a voice say. That voice I have heard it before then it clicked on me it was Alex. A sudden strong wind blow by us I stranded there looking at him what was he doing here? I asked myself.
I'm so sorry Alice it just I missed you so much she say and hugged me again but this time she let go after a few mins. I smiled shyly " yea I missed you to Princess" we both smiled at each other. "Oh let you introduce you to my future husband Alex we are engage" she told me. I was to much in shock to say anything "your engage!" I asked her she showed me the ring I hugged her and told her I'm happy for her. My father wants to do a toast for us she told me of course I would love to but I'm leaving early I told her she looked sad then pulled me in for another hug that alright she told me. I'm just glad I get to see you Princess told me I smiled and kissed her on the cheek and walked away in to much shock I grab another glass of wine for table. My best friends saw what happen and rush over me to and hugged me. I couldn't cry I told them not here not in front of these people I told them. Chris pulled me in for a hug and rub my back I smiled. Thank you but I don't think I will be staying for much longer I told them. That alright Alice I will take home the girls Chris told me I thanked him.
I need to get some air I told them I went outside to get some fresh air. Chris had given me his sunshades before I left. I put them on and sit down outside and just looked up at the stars I felt the tears running down my face. My mother was right I was nobody and nobody will every love me I whispered to myself. I pulled out my make up mirror and fix my face. It was about time for the big revealed I told myself. I walked back in and joined the rest of my friends who hug me and rub my back.

Ladies and gentlemen tonight I have the honor to be in the presence of the great Miss Alice Queen the Official Heiress of Queen's Empire and the granddaughter of Queen himself. Steve who's Princess father told the invited guests. The crowd cheered then everyone turned to me and I waved my hand giving them thanks.

I would also would like to announced the marriage of My only daughter Princess to Alex. Steve say and everyone cheered and rise their glasses. Princess stepped up to the speaker.

I would like to ask Miss Queen if she will be my Bride maid? Princess say into the speaker. Of course I would love to I shouted so she could hear.

After agreeing to be her bride maid I told the girls and Chris I was leaving everyone hugged me. I pulled out my iPhone and called the driver and told him I was ready. I was about to leave the hotel went someone grab my hand outside. I turned around and saw it was Alex. How dare you touch me? I told him tears falling for my eyes. He just looked at me with a straight face. I pulled my hand away from him "don't you every touch me again I don't want anything to do with you Alex do you understand me" I told him. He didn't say anything he just pulled me in for a hug. I use all of my strength to push him away. But he was to strong so I give up and just let him hug me. After a few mins I told him let me go and he didn't I pulled away from him and left him there. Wait he shouted after me, what do you want I ask him. Why didn't you tell me your an heiress now? he ask. What does that has to do with you now that I'm an heiress I told him. It has a lot to do with it Alice he told me no it doesn't your engage to my friend Princess I told him. I wish you both the best I told him. I looked away and started to walk to the limousine. I'm glad your going to be her bride maid it means a lot to her he told me. I'm sorry I'm not going to be here anymore, I can't be her bride's maid I told him. Why? Why are you leaving? he ask is it because of me? He ask.
