Abby walked next to Link then, Trace trotting on her other side. Link looked at her and then Lizy, seeming confused on why she was walking.
Lizy shrugged not really caring.
"Why are you walking?" Navi asked.
"Because I'm heavy as fuck." She answered bluntly.
"With all the weapons she has," Lizy said. "And trust me that's a lot"
"At least she's honest?" Link laughed.
Navi huffed and went back inside Links hat.
"So we now this temple is a forest," Lizy said. "But ware in the forest is it?"
"We have to go through the Lost Woods." Link answered. Abby was whistling a random tune.
"Oh I heard about them they say if kids wander in they become skull kids and if grownups wander in..well lack of a better words monsters," Lizy said.
Link nodded. "We should be fine though. I just wonder how my old friends are doing in the forest village I lived in."
"You lived in that place?" Abby asked.
Link nodded. "Yes when I was a kid I was the boy without a fairy..and I did know why I never had one till the Deku Tree wanted to see my even before his death I still don't know"
"Maybe he knew about you bein a hero or somethin and just wanted to see ya," Abby said
"Maybe..."
"You're kind of a big deal Link." Abby laughed. "So I think him wantin to see ya was important to him. You should feel happy and stuff."
Link nodded and smiled a bit.
It was soon evening as they got to a large long with a hole in it it was surrounded by so many trees that the hole was the only way through.
"That's not intimidating," Abby said. Trace nudged her head.
"This is the way to Kokiri Forest that goes to the Lost Woods," Link said.
"Nice." Abby nodded a walked forward.
"I this its best we lave the horse here," Lizy said. "Don't want to spook the Kokiri" Lizy said.
"Right!" Abby nodded, letting go of Trace. "Chill here, we'll be back." Trace trotted to the other two horses.
"Ready?" Link asked the to girls.
They both nodded. Following the man inside the dark log.
Abby squinted through the dark as they gradually emerged. "How'd you live here?"
"I was a kid and played all day with my friends"
"So you grew up here as a little kid?"
"Seven years ago yes," Link said. "Till I was sealed away"
"How was that? Y'know. Being a kid?" Abby asked curiously. She looked to Lizy. Seeming to be expecting answers from both.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Link asked.
"My memory doesn't really go past 10 years. At least I decided that was my age at the time. So I don't remember what it's like to be a little kid." Abby said. "I was the youngest mercenary." She said this proudly.
"Wow," Lizy said. "That is young"
"They started giving me regular jobs like just helping in a kitchen or on a ranch. But a wife had asked me one day to put something in he husbands drink. Offered me a lot. So I did as told, and no one suspected the little kid. I slowly became used to poisoning jobs, then it started progressing to quicker jobs." Abby smiled. "So assassinations by weapons was the usual by 12." She sighed. "Good times." The group continued about.
