Chapter 1:
{Naomis POV}
As I brushed out my bush of ginger hair I listened and sang along to my favourite childhood song Mr. Brightside. It's been 12 years since I first met my closet childhood friends and my best friends to this day, honestly I can't imagine my life without those 7 people. I was only 9 when I first met my best friends, Lydia and Charlotte I was alone in the woods since I was always outdoors during my childhood, I took the wrong path home and I know what your thinking if i was outdoors most of my childhood how did I get lost after 9 years of exploring the woods? Well, my family and I have just moved into this new village and of course being a child I decided to explore the new environment that I was going to live in for the next few years of my life. When I took the wrong path I started to panic I had never gotten lost before in all my years of exploring. I began to panic even worse until I heard the voice of a girl coming from behind me. Obviously, I was petrified since it was 7pm on a winters evening and It was getting dark the first thought that came to my head was 'Oh great the grudge is going to kill me oh god!' But then I heard a second voice which muffled the words 'Hello, are you okay?' I turned my back to see two girls around my age standing and starring at me in concern. I then broke the silence and told them I was new to the village and I got lost while exploring. They told me they would do anything they could to get me home safely and we did. After that we got to know each other better and become the best of
friends. Then I met Charlottes twin brother, Justin and Lydia and became amazing friends with him too. Through the years we met plenty of people but in our first year of High School we met Seth and his friend Josh. They then introduced us to their best friend Daniel. The 7 of us were inseparable if Lydia or Charlotte fancied someone I always knew before they even told me just by looking at there actions during classes, lunch or anytime at school. One day in our 3 year of High School we noticed a girl who sat alone at lunch everyday and never talked to anyone even though she was a in her second year of High school we got to know her and became best friends with her. Her name's Freya and all through High School it was the 8 of us and the 8 of us only, no one could ever get in our way. We hung out every day of the week for 9 years until university rolled around. Since the twins and Daniel were 19 at the time they waited until Lydia, Seth and I turned 18 so we could all go to university together, the sad part was Josh and Freya had to finish High School since Josh was only 17 and Freya only 16 so it was just the 6 of us for 3 years until we finished UNI which believe it or not was only 2 days ago. This is the first day we are all getting back together as a group, the 8 of us all back again and since it's summer that means that Freya and Josh are free from school so we can hang out whenever we want just like old times. We are all meeting at our favourite place to go as kids the playground I know we are such babies but that is were we all used to hang out everyday of the week. I decided to go for a casual look so I picked out a wine top that went to my hips, a pair of skinny jeans which are blue but are extremely light I'd say they are sliver, Brown ankle boots with diamonds along the side, these grey and beige earrings in a sorta flower shape, a simply gold bangle and a brown leather back pack. The chorus to Mr. Brightside beings to play and I can't help but sing along.

Cus I'm Mr. Brightside" I sang my heart out while bouncing around my room rocking out to the music.

{Lydias POV}
"Coming out of my cage and I've been doing just fine gotta gotta be down because I want it all" All my childhood memories came back to me when I sang the lyrics to Mr. Brightside luckily, they played it on my favourite radio station on the day I meet up with my best friends after 3 years. Today I wanted to show my inner goth and wore mostly black but since I'm not fully goth (yet) I wore white as well. I got my good pair of black skinny jeans with a few twin rips above and below the knee, My black and white sports jacket (it's basically high school musical style but in black and white), black and white All Star Converse, A black beanie and a black purse I know I'm very dark. I decide to just put a few loose curls in my dip dyed hair and I headed out of my room and down to the kitchen to grab something to eat before I left. While I was leaving my room I heard them play a familiar song on the radio. I couldn't exactly make out what the song was so I got to the kitchen and turned on the wadi to hear them playing Paradise another one of songs the 8 of us listened to everyday. The instrumental came on and I began to hum until it was time for the lyrics
{Joshs POV}
"When she was just a girl she expected the world but it flew ago from her reach so she ran away in her sleep" I silently sang under my breath as I put my headphones in my pocket along with my phone and wallet. I ran my fingers through my dirty blond hair to make it look scruffy and I headed out the door and into my car as I live in a collage house with 3 other people and my collage is an hour away from where I live which is also the place where the 8 of us hung out but the good thing is Seth stayed at his friends house that's only 20 minutes away from my canvas so I'll pick him up and we will go back to the others.
