I am still in serious denial. We are a rental company in JacksonVill right now, trying to find an apartment. I guess we had it coming anyway, karma and all its glory. *sigh* I just wish this place was less dirty, had a lower crime rate, maybe some parks or something...

"Ok so Mr.Reed and Mrs.Allen what are you looking for in a place?" -Rental Guy

"Something not to dirty, but in a low price range." -Jackson

"Hmm let us see" *Flips through some papers* "I'd love for you guys to check out the Madisons old house. Its the only house and it's fairly clean. No roaches or bugs" -Rental Guy

"Sounds great!" -Harley

"The only problem is it's a bit pricey. All together mixing every bill, it's 8,000 a month" -Rental Guy

I gasped shocked at this price. I looked at Jackson knowing there no way in hell we could afford that.

"Uh, we REALLY need a cheaper place! And one we could move into possibly this week..." -Jackson

The rental guy looked at us as if we had lobsters crawling out our ears. "

"That's a high demand. Bug-free, Clean, Cheap, and move into this week???" -Rental Guy

I placed my head in my hands. We were facing jail time if we didn't get a place before that police officer got here on Friday. As this guy sorted through his paper i accepted the fact that we were officially screwed. I grabbed my handbag and stood up.

"WAIT! we have one place about a block from here. It fits 2\4 of your demands. It's the only option though if you want to move in this week."-Rental Guy

I looked at Jackson. He looked back at me. We really didn't have much of a choice, did we?

We walk outside and a block later, we're at a studio apartment. Brown wallpaper peeling off and faded. A broken fence {that was what we once assumed once white} had greenish moss all over the tips and a tarnished lock.

This couldn't be it.

"This is it! Please follow me inside" -Rental Guy

I heard those dreaded words and prayed it would be better on the inside. We walked up to the gate and it opened screeching as it did. It sounded like it hadn't been opened in an eternity. The front door wasn't much better. Its peephole was broken and the size of a quarter, you could see the inside from the outside.

"So your landlord Mr.Winchester will be taking it from here."

We walked in and immediately a musk that was a mixture of beer and sweat invaded us. When A guy with short brown hair and a brown leather jacket walked in.

"Hi I'm Dean Winchester, but you can call me Dean" {I know you got that reference, I'm sure everyone did}

I shook his hand as we walked around , wich i found pointless. It was so small we didn't need to. To paint a picture of this place, it had stains all in the yellowish brown carpet. The coaches had cigarette-sized holes all over them. The walls looked to be once lime green now a gray with splintery wood and holes. There was one bed with a while stained sheet and crumbs all over. The pillows and comforter had brown black and green all over them and looked like they never got washed. The tv was a small box and had tons of wires. The blinds were broken with broken screens and dust upon them.

"So all together this place is $590 altogether. A few things you should know though don't run the water past 5 or its cold, the air does not work, you get 12 chances on TV, the locks are not the best, and the neighbors well.... there creative." -Dean

He read us the lease and all i heard was years. I did not plan on staying for that long.

I looked at Jackson is disgust. I think jail would be nicer than this place... No way Jackson would even consider accepting.

"Alright... when can we move in?" -Jackson

"WHAT"

I yelled my eyes bulging out of my head

Jackson shot me a dirty look and pushed his finger to his lips.

"Sorry about that Dean, she's just excited." -Jackson

"It's ok. So how's thursday, two days from today?"

"Great. See you than"

I handed Dean the money and smiled as convincingly as I could. We walked back to the car and i sighed sitting on the passenger's side. Even know we aren't allowed to drive for another year. We pulled out and i wanted to cry. We were really going through with this.
