I could hear a constant beeping, like a alarm that won't shut off at six am before school.

My head feels like someone used it as a basket ball against a concrete surface, the pain feels red.

Forcing my eyes open I quickly shut them when I noticed how bright the room is, while wincing I push myself up onto my elbows before slowly reopening my eyes. I began blinking several times until they adjusted I could notice it was just any room, it was a hospital room.

I could hear the beeping rapidly get faster. I place my hand over my heart and breath, slowly the nearby monitor calms and the room is back to its sick almost silence.

"Why am I here?" My voice came out oddly smooth, my eyes widened and I sit up. What happened last night?

I grab a tv remote the was on the side of the bed frame and click the power button, instantly the new show flickers and settles.

"-Near the Athena Rock we received a report over the radio saying that a body, soon determined to be a young girl around 17, was found laying in the banks under the cliff. After further information we found proof of a struggle and determined that this was no suicide but indeed a murder. Stay tuned as we figure out th-" I turned off the tv, my arm starts shaking as I held the remote.

Body what do they mean, if I'm checked into the hospital then they know who I am? I'm obviously alive so it wasn't murder nor suicide.

My head starts to ache once I get up to use the restroom, after opening and closing the door I rush over to the sink and splash some cold water on my face.

Looking into the mirror it felt like my body was on lock down, my eyes tried to adjust or figure out what was in front of me, that maybe it was a deflusion or fault. But the person looking back wasn't me, I quickly smack my cheek to wake up whatever part of myself that would display this or somehow fix my head but after looking up again I realized it's not joke.

I'm Alissa Cole but the face looking back was no other than Cambree Lockwood, the schools number one and seventh richest daughter in the county.

I choked on the air and stumbled backwards into the door, it brutally flipped open and I landed on my ass quite hard. I heard someone gasp and run over too me, lucky for my concern it was one of the nurses cause I was two minutes away from a break down, still am.

"Ms. Lockwood, my dear are you okay? Here let me help you up and onto the bed, you mustn't walk after having surgery," She babbled on and brushed the wrinkles in the bed flat before helping me sit down, she pinched her nose and let out a demanding sigh.

"I know your going through a hard time Ms. Lockwood but honestly I expected you with your intelligence to be wise enough to not rush your body." She rolled up a small new paper and bumped me on the head with it, for a nurse she really seemed motherly? I wonder what's her relationship with Cambree?

I sighed and smiled at the women, she talk to me for several minutes but most of it was scolding. I somehow wiggled out questions that helped me figure out why Cambree was in the hospital, apparently late last night she was walking down Woodhaven and a group of guys pulled her into a corner while barricading her with broken glass bottles, out of fear she sprinted with her eyes shut and ran into one of the guys but before she could get away he throw her against the wall and cracked her the temple of her skull.

Quite graphic I'll give her that, you can tell she's a heart warming person by simply looking at her face in the mirror so it's odd that this was by chance that she was attacked.

Running a hand threw my hair I let out a sigh, I know what happened to her body but where is mine?

"Hello," a voice mumbled while shutting the door, looking up a short nurse with long chestnut hair continues to speak, "Mrs. Lockwood would like me to inform you that since your heath is in extremely good terms that you'll be attending your usual school tomorrow, I'll be giving you medication to keep in your gym bag so when needed they're on hand. Please refrain from sports or stressful activities and if any problems occur call us immediately," her voice was as smooth as if it was melted butter, I nodded and glanced outside the window. Seeing this as a dismissal the nurse sighed while exiting the room.

Tomorrow I start school with the class mates Ive always know but now I'm going back a stranger.
