Lost love

At first

Two girls where sitting at a dinner table. The first girl, Chloe, was not tall very tall. She was around 5'3, and had beautiful, medium length red hair. The second girl, Rosie, was very tall. She was 5'5, and had long, brown hair. They were talking about math, and Rosie was trying to explain to Chloe why 2+2=🐟
"Rose, I'm telling you, 2+2=4, not fish." Realizing that she was not going to win the argument, she brought up a different subject. "Hey, today in math class, Jeff was looking at you. I wonder if he likes you..."
"Chloe, come on. You know I like him, but get real. There is no way that he likes me. I'm just a nobody"
"Don't say that! You are beautiful and so much more. I bet he loves you. You know what? I'm going to ask Jack to find out if Jeff likes you."
"Well...ok. As long as Jack dosn't say that I like Jeff."
"Ok Rosie, and besides I bet Jeff LOVES you!!"
The girls giggled as they grabbed there stuff and went into their room. Chloe pulled out her phone and texted Jack asking him figure out if Jeff liked Rosie.
Chloe: hey jack! How r u?
Jack: I'm good baby, hbu?
Chloe: I'm good. Hey can u do me a fav?
Jack: sure! What is it?
Chloe: figure out if Jeff has a crush on Rosie.
Jack: ok. Hey I love you, and I will ttyl.
Chloe: ok! Thanks babe!

Jeff was still sitting in his car. He couldn't stop thinking about......her. He had liked her for over a year now, but was too afraid to say anything. He had planned to ask her out, but.................never mind. He knew he shouldn't think about what that THING did to her, and how it broke her heart. She hadn't had a boyfriend since, and was probably still too scared to have one. Suddenly, Jeff 's phone beeped.

Jack: hey Jeff, meet me at Wendy's, I need to talk to you, and promised to pick up some food for the girls.
Jeff: ok, sure. What time?
Jack: in ten minutes.
Jeff: ok. Be there soon.

Jeff started the car and drove into town. "I wonder what Jack needed to talk about..."
