Laurence's POV No one has seen Emma since that night. I hope she's OK. I mean I'm her best friend I care about her. I was in the guard tower and I turned to Jackson. "Hey could you patrol with garroth for me? I have something I have to do..." he nodded and put his armor on. I went to Emma's house and knocked on the door. "Hey delianie Emma here?" "Actually no...she left to go to the pond." I nodded and ran to the pond. When I was there I saw her sitting on a bench/swing humming a familiar song.

I sat with her and asked "is there something wrong?" She looks at me. And replies with "yes! I killed my own mother because I'm part shadow Knight!!" I felt my anger coming back to me and I started breathing. Trying to stay calm "you don't have to be mad at me for it though!" I walked away and to calm down but heard voices saying "oh your little girl friends mad at you" "Come on break already!" "Just do it!!" They started chanting and I finally had it. I turned into my shadow Knight form.
A few days later
Emma's pov 'Great now I made laurence run away! Why am I even living?!' I thought as I was looking at the blade in my hand. I quickly went and locked my door. I sat back on my bed and look at the summer set. ' where are you laurence? I really need you.' I thought I rolled up my sleeves to reveal the other scars. I added four more. One for laurence....one for mom...one for shadow knights....and one more for dad. I bandage my cuts and sleep. The next morning Aphmau organized a search party to find laurence. I joined and we searched. As I was searching I heard Aphmau say "I want the old laurence back." I looked around the corner for my heart to be broken. I liked laurence and Aphmau knew it. There I saw Aphmau and laurence kissing as he slowly became normal. Tears formed in my eyes and I ran away to the pond. It always got my mind off things. I heard garroth yell "WE NEED TO FIND EMMA AND TELL HER WE FOUND HIM!!!!" I climbed into a tree crying. Why Aph.....just why? I saw laurence alone appear and look around the pond. I was still crying. He looked up and saw me. He climbed Into the tree and sat with me. "Emma what's wrong?" He asked. "You are..." I said stoping my tears with my voice sounding cold. i jumped out of the tree and ran home. I locked the door to my room and dug around in my drawer. I found the blade and I cut more while crying. I heard someone yell through my door "EMMA PLEASE JUST TELL ME!!!!! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I DID!!!!" it was laurence. After that I heard Delianie say "here are the spare keys." Followed by a click and the someone running up the stairs. Laurence saw me and ran to me. "Emma....why? What did I do to hurt you?" He looked at my terribly bloody wrists. I look down and ask delianie to leave. "Laurence I saw you kissing Aphmau." I said my heart tearing more with each word. "What?" "A few minutes ago in the forest...she said 'i want the old laurence back's and kissed you....it broke my heart because...because...I love you....." he was staring at me. He hugged me and said "don't ever do this again." Then when we pulled away he stares into my eyes and kissed me. I quickly pulled away and told him "no...I...I can't laurence....I know you love Aphmau and I have to except it." I made him leave but he wouldn't. "You don't understand that I like you not Aph...since I've met you I haven't spoke to Aph that's why she said she wanted the old me back...she wanted the me that loved her back." I shook my head in disbelief and made him leave again. This time he did and when he did I took the spare key to my room and locked myself inside again. I grabbed the blade and cut the word Laurence onto my stomach. I didn't bandage anything I just went to sleep. I woke up the next morning to see myself covered in dry blood. I quickly washed and then changed into the clothes below (For the girl)

I grabbed harry Potter deathly hollows and went to the swing by the pond. On my way I ran into garroth has asked me "hey Emma? Remember when you mentioned Zane at the plaza?" "Yeah" "What did he do to you?" "I was forced to be his bride" "What did he say?" "I told him I would never marry him and he said that he knew about things and then told me I never will find my mother be cause she's dead." He nodded and continued his patrolling. Why does garroth look so familiar?! I ask myself. Then I remembered
Flash back I was playing with the ro'meaves when I was five. "Garroth I swear if you throw a snowball at me I'll take over the world!" Zane said and turned around to be ambushed. I giggled "garroth! Heheheh" I said smiling at them vylad had come out and was talking with me. "Yeah it's lonely sometimes because I'm not their full brother." He told me as we watch Zane being tickled by garroth. I giggle some more before my father picked me up I squealed and tried to get him to put me down but he refused. When I got home he beat me.
Flashback over
Emma's pov I'm from o'kasis. Garroth was my friend....vylad was my best friend. I reach the swing only to find laurence there. I ran to him. "Laurence! I remember where I lived!" He looked at me as if he didn't care. "Whats your problem?!" He looked at me and said "roll up your sleeves!" I did as told and he looked at all my scars. He rolled up his sleeves to reveal scars. I gasp. "Laurence...I'm so sorry I did this didn't I!? See this is why I shouldn't live!!! I cause people too much pain!" I threw my book on the ground a d dove into the sparkling pond. I let go of my breath and then blacked out from lack of air.
