"How are you holding up?" Naruto asked him. 

As irritated as he was that Naruto felt the need to check up on him, Sasuke answered anyway. "It's been three months already, Naruto. If your waiting for me to fall apart or something, adjust your standards of me. "He took a sip of his coffee and adjusted his sunglasses before continuing. "Hinata left me, yes, but that doesn't mean my world is going to fall apart. Do you think so little of me?"

Naruto gave him skeptical look. "You moved to a new apartment."

Sasuke snorted with laughter. "So, I wanted a better place for myself."

"Yeah right. Itachi told me you don't want to sell the apartment you bought with Hinata" he retorted.

"It belongs to her just as much as it does to me."

Naruto paused as the Cafe-house waitress brought their orders to them. A simple butter croissant for Sasuke, two chocolate croissants, and a piece of chocolate marble loaf cake, for Naruto.

"Is there anything else I can get you?" the petite waitress asked them both. She blushed as Sasuke looked her way, clearly she recognized who she was serving today. So much for the disguise, not that simple sunglasses weren't a dead giveaway.

Sasuke lowered his sunglasses a bit to meet her eyes. "I'll let you know later"  

Naruto inwardly groaned. "You should know he's not going to give you a second thought after you sleep with him" 

"Have a nice day!" she said before leaving the two alone again.

"Let me remind you, that the apartment was bought with your money, and it's under your name" Naruto said going back to the subject at hand.

"I'm going to change it so it's under her name. So she can do whatever she wants with it, when she gets back" 

"She's not coming back." 

"You don't know that" Sasuke glared at him.

" Yes I do" he lied. "Neji will be coming back but she won't be."

Sasuke stayed silent. 

"I get it man, you guys dated for four years. She was with you while you and your parents weren't in the best of terms but you have to pull yourself together. Otherwise things will go back to how they were before she was in your life. Do you want to be that selfish bastard again?"

"As I said" Sasuke's tone was hard. "She left me. I'm fine. I don't need you to check up on me. What I do, is my business only. I make sure I don't create any stupid headlines about myself. I'm a single man and I plan to enjoy every single second" He stood up ready to leave. "Do me a favor and don't ever bring up that bitch again. "

"This is why she left your sorry ass, you took her for granted."

Sasuke pulled him up by his collar. Spilling their drinks on the floor and scattering the rest of their pastries. "You don't know anything. You think you do but you don't. So stay out of this." He pushed Naruto back down unto his chair and walked away. 

Naruto tried to wipe away the spilled coffee on his coat as the waitress, who had been watching everything, approached him cautiously. "Yeah, don't worry, I'll pay for this mess"
