The Chosen One

Chapter 2

Niall's POV

I woke up in very soft and big bed. Wait where am I?

I looked around and I was in this giant room. Then the events of last night came flooding to my mind. Alpha Harry said I could stay here and that they would protect me when I needed it.

I was no longer in my little "house" in the woods, I didn't have to worry about alphas attacking me anymore.

Today was the day that Alpha Des was gonna make an announcement about... well I didn't exactly know what he was gonna talk about, but we'll find out today.

Harry was still beside me asleep. He looks really cute when he sleeps. His eyes moving meaning he was having a dream and the soft snores coming from him.

I started playing with his hair. It was really soft and curly. Some of his curls fall onto his face covering his eyes a little bit. We were positioned to where we were laying on our sides facing each other.

He moved to where his hand was now on my thigh.

I starred at him for I don't know how long. Why was he being nice to me? I thought he would've been mean just like everyone else, I thought that he would leave me in the woods, I thought I would be on my own for the rest of my life, but I guess things change for some people.

I am very lucky that Harry showed up when he did or I don't know what would've happened to me.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when there was a knock on the door. I slowly got out of bed so I wouldn't wake Harry up, walked to the door and opened it showing Alpha Des.

"Hey Niall I know Harry is in there so could you wake him up because the pack meeting is in an hour". He said.

"Yeah sure". I said.

"Thank you". He said and then he walked away. I closed the door and walked over to the side where Harry was.

"Harry wake up". I whispered while shaking him a little bit, but he didn't move. "Harry". I said a little louder this time and I sighed.

I don't want to scream he might kick me out so I tickled him and he started laughing.

"Yay you're awake now". I said and stopped tickling him.

"You tickled me so I would wake up"? He asked and I nodded. "Why"? He asked.

"Your dad said that the pack meeting was in an hour and told me to wake you up so I did". I said with a smile on my face and he chuckled.

"Ok how about you get ready I will bring you some clothes while you're in the shower". He said and I nodded.

He got up, walked out of the room to get me some clothes and I walked in the bathroom and started the shower. Once it was hot enough I took my clothes off and got in.

Its been so long since I've had a proper shower and it feeling so good I'm telling you.

"Niall are you in the shower yet"? I heard Harry ask.

"Yeah". I said.

"Ok Imma put your clothes on the sink". He said.

"Ok". I said and I heard the door open and close.

I continued to wash until I felt like I was clean enough and then I got out.

I dried myself off and put the clothes on that Harry gave me. He gave me a pair of joggers and a black tank top.

I walked out the bathroom and saw Harry sitting on the bed on his phone. He looked up at me and he smiled and I smiled back.

"You ready"? He asked.

"Yeah I'm nervous though". I said.

"Why"? He asked.

"Because everyone hates me here". I said.

"I don't hate you". He said.

"Well everyone but you hates me". I said.

"It will be fine, I'm pretty sure no one will try anything cause you will be up there with me and my dad". He said and I nodded. "Oh dad said its time to go come on". He said and he grabbed my hand pulling me out of the room and outside on the pack house.

When we got outside everyone was out there. Every alpha, every beta, every omega and every baby. My heard started to race because everyone was looking at me

Harry's POV 

We got outside and everyone looked at Niall and he looked like he was about to pass out. I was about to mind link him but then I remembered he can't do that yet so I whispered in his ear instead.

"Everything will be fine ok". I said and he nodded then my dad came out.

"Ok everyone listen to me". Everyone stopped looking at Niall and looked at my dad now. "So I have heard that one of our pack members have been treated poorly". He started. "I don't like that, everyone in this pack is family and we don't treat family like a piece of shit". He said. "Niall come here for a sec". He said and he hesitantly walked to my dads side. 

"His boy, Niall Horan, has been treated poorly and he doesn't deserve that at all". He said. "Just because he an omega doesn't mean he needs to be treated badly and if I catch you or if he tells me that someone has treated him badly you will have to talk to me and-". My dad was cut off when Niall screamed in pain and fell to the floor.

Niall's POV

I screamed as pain shot through my body. I fell to the floor trying to contain the pain but nothing was working.

It felt like every bone in my body was breaking at once and I screamed even louder.

"What's wrong with him"? I heard Harry ask.

"I think he's going through his transformation". Alpha Des said.

I couldn't concentrate on what everyone else was saying after that. The pain was too unbearable.

All the pain went to my head and I held my head and I felt things shifting. Like my human features going to wolf features, then the pain went to the rest of my body and I felt more shifting. I no longer had two legs I had four, I had ears on top of my head, I had paws instead of hands, I had claws instead of nails, and I had a snout instead of a nose.

The pain finally went away.

I wasn't in wolf form for long. I turned back to my human form and ran behind a tree because I was well... naked now.

"Harry go get him a blanket that can cover all of him". Alpha Des said. Harry ran into the pack house to get me a blanket. 

He came back and he covered me with the blanket and I moved from behind the tree.

"Niall". Harry said and I looked at him and he pointed to everyone. I looked at they all were kneeling with their heads down.

"What are they kneeling for"? I asked.

"Because you're the chosen one Niall".
