Chapter 2

>>Your POV<<

It was early, but the soft sound of birds chirping came through my closed and slightly cracked window. I had slammed it so hard last night it cracked, jeezums...

I heard a light tapping on my door and hopped out of bed opening it,"Hey Y/N! C'mon, get ready!" Uncle Ethan smiles like a little kid.

"It's 6 in the morning..." I groaned.

"Actually, you look fine, LEZ GO!" He shouts grabbing my wrist and dragging me down the hallway.

My bare feet making me cold as we make our way to the elevator. When we get up there I hear a loud, ear piercing scream.

My eyes widen at the mutants. I looked as my dad repressed the button over and over, sending a shock wave to the mutant... Turtles... The ones from last night!!

I ran over and grabbed the button, the mutant panting. I threw it at the ground, smashing it. "WHY WERE YOU HURTING HIM!" I asked, anger overtook me.

"That monster bit me..." He growled.

"You're the only monster I see..." I grumbled.

"Excuse me..?" He asked.

"Clean the gunk outta your ears! I said, YOU'RE... THE... ONLY... MONSTER... I... SEE!" I said, going slowly so he could understand me.

"Go to your room..." He growled.

"No!" I refused, I wasn't letting him hurt them anymore.

I suddenly felt a stinging sensation on my cheek. I touched my cheek, he had slapped me... "I said, go to your room.." He growled.

"Richard! Calm down!" I had almost forgotten Ethan was there.

"No one tells me to calm down!" He growls and storms out. Uncle Ethan unlocked the cell and grabbed a cloth, giving it to me.

"Tend the wounds... I'm going to get him to relax..." Ethan says, charging after my dad.

"Wait! Uncle Ethan-!" The elevator door had closed and I was alone,-"Don't leave me... Alone..." I finished.

I turned back, hugging myself with the cloth in hand. Without notice, my body started moving towards the mutants.

They both had a red and blue mask. The red clad glared at me, as the blue one gave a soft expression. I sat gently on my knees, my face centimeters away from the blue's face.

I could feel the heat of his breath and it gave me chills. I backed up and fell to my butt. 'C'mon Y/N... Stop being a wuss...' I mentally argued with myself.

I gained enough courage to begin cleaning. I started with red's arm, I felt both eyes on me, his and his friends.

"I'm not sure if you can understand me... But I'm sorry my father did this..." I said, letting out a sigh.

They both looked at each other then back to me,"I think it has to do with my mother's passing... He's been, off... Is that the right word?" I asked myself.

I smiled to myself, as I started humming. I got lost into thought. I then moved on to the blue, I set my hand on his as he grabbed mine. I froze and tensed up. I looked into his ocean blue eyes, getting lost into them.

He had a small smile, a smal blood stream flowing from the corner of his mouth. "Thank... You..." He croaked, weakly.

My eyes widen,"Y-You can understand me...?" I asked, getting a little close again.

I heard distant shouts, but paid no attention. I felt two arms around my waist then I was pulled out of the cell. For some dumb reason I reached back for the mutant.

I landed on my butt, again, and looked up to see my dad,"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!" Dad screamed.

"I-I was just listening to Uncle-" He let out a deep sigh,"Did they hurt you?" He asked, examining me.

"N-No... They aren't bad..." I squeaked.

"Sweetie, I think you're gaining a cold, more like going crazy... They're mutants, you're human, I refuse you from coming in the lab until they're gone..." He ordered.

"B-but dad-!" "No buts, go to your room and get ready for the day... We are done with this conversation..." He said, throwing me over his shoulder.

I reached out for the two mutants as they started getting restless,"No!" I screamed.

But before I could say anything else, the elevator doors closed,"No..." I whispered:

I looked over at Raph as his head hung low. I looked at where the girl disappeared. She helped us, she understood how we felt... She cared for us.

"If you're thinking what I think your thinking... You're crazy..." Raph mumbled.

His green eyes peered up at my own, I remembered the heat of her breath and her soft skin.

"You don't have a chance..." Raph said, going back to staring at the ground.

"I know... I just don't care..." I said, hanging my head low in unison with his.
