It became something he never would have picked for himself, yet somehow was what he desperately needed. Among the insanity of the 21st Century Breakdown tour, Billie's past comes back to haunt him when he is suddenly given the responsibility of raising a baby son. A crazy one night stand come to life nine months later, little baby Billie is deemed invalid and worthless by a mother who leaves him with his oblivious father only days after he is born. Although extremely apprehensive at first, the single father takes on the challenge of raising the little boy, adorably nicknamed Spazzy on account of his rare case of spasticity, and quickly grows to love him above all other things in his life.
These stories detail the gradual formation of the unshakable bond between the two.
