Ch 3: shadows in the night

Nighttime came .

Everyone was ready to at least get some rest , at least until 12:00 a.m which is when they needed to hunt the guard down .
So they needed their limited rest if they where going to give it their all .

The stage was quiet .

Bonnie ,Chica and Freddy had their eyes closed .
Freddy opened his eyes and looked at both Bonnie and Chica as if to see that they where sound asleep .
Once the cost was clear , Freddy slowly walked away from the stage .
He tried being extra sneaky but he was making soft noises as he walked.
Freddy had his ears perked up with every new sound that he made .
Just a little closer to his destination .
All he needed to do was get past pirates cove and-

"Captin?"

When he heard those words he nearly fell

Slowly, Freddy turned towards the voice to see foxy peeking from behind the curtains with a sleepy gaze .

"Where ye be going ?", He asked .

Freddy stood there nervously , trying to think of an excuse .

"I.....I just want to be alone ", Freddy whispered with his ears down.

Foxy looked at him for a while .

"Can ye at least tell me where ?", Foxy asked in a whisper .

Freddys ears lowered even more , he had to think of another excuse .

"To the kitchen ....look foxy can you just please, please try to go back to sleep ... I just want to be alone , please ", Freddy pleaded .

Foxy thought for a bit, then sighed .

"Alright captain, just don't be long ...you need rest "

Freddy quickly nodded , not really paying attention to the last part .
With that Foxy closed the curtains .
Sighing in relief , Freddy continued his journey quietly .......to the office.

Sitting on the chair , Freddy groaned with satisfaction .
He liked being in the security office, it felt that he was actually in control of at least one thing in his messy world .
This way he felt that he could watch over his friends .

To sum it all up It just felt....safe .

Sighing happily he looked through the cameras .
His friends didn't like to go inside , except when they killed the guard
But in circumstances like going in there for fun like he did ....

They rather say away from it .

The only one that also liked it was Goldie , but not even he stayed there for long .
But Freddy ......he stayed there every moment he could .
He actually even fixed some of the mechanics from time to time .
In his opinion, if they where going to kill the guard they would do it fairly.
And it wasn't fair to have doors that didn't close , or limited power .
The best part was that no one knew he was doing that ......except for Goldie who said that he was cheating.
It wasn't cheating...more like bending the rules to make the game equal .
But still.......Goldie forbid him to do it.
So for now all he could do was look through the cameras .

He checked the stage  .

Lucky him, they where still asleep .

He then checked the backstage room .

It was entry , except for it normal endoskeletons and multiple shelves full of heads .

He was about to flip to the kitchen when-

He saw something shift .
A shadow in the corner .

Shifted ....

Freddy's ears dropped as he squinted his eyes to look closer 
He couldn't quite make out the figure but it looked like .......

A bunny

Freddy quickly flipped back to the stage and saw Bonnie still there .
With even more confusion he flipped back to the backstage camera .

And the shadows was gone .

Freddy gulped, feeling a bit of fear .
He was even tempted to close the doors  .
He suddenly came to respect the night guards
