Nightmare Playground

the beginning

You would think that life couldn't get any worse,final exam for school ,maybe you're failing a class or having relationship issues well it can actually get worse that is where my story begins.

I walk home from school tired as always usually I walk alone but this girl from my class named Lucy decided to walk with me which was unusual to me since she is the most popular girl in the school. As we were walking we hear this strange sound,it kinda sounded like a nail being scraped against metal. We stop and look around to see what it was but no one was there,so we kept walking until we heard it again I looked at Lucy and said"did you hear that?" She looked at me sarcastically and said "Noooooo it's not like I'm standing right here"she rolls her eyes and walks past me as if nothing had happened so I just shrugged and kept walking. A few minutes have passed since we heard the sound so I thought it was over until I stopped to tie my shoe and realized that Lucy was nowhere to be found. I call out her name a few times and nothing so I start jogging at a steady pace until I hear the sound again after that I start running home. I make it to the front door only to see a box addressed for me I open it and all I see is a note wrapped around something and covered in paint or something I pick it up and I find out that the substance was blood and it said "your next". I remove the note from whatever was in it just to find out it was Lucy's head. As soon as I drop the head feeling sick I hear breathing right behind me I slowly spin around and see someone standing right behind me I try and see their face but I can only see what looks like a potato sack over his head I ask the figure"w-who are you" he walks forwards and harshly says"I am your worst nightmare" I try and run but I am frozen in fear. I look back at him just to be knocked out as I fall I hear an eerie voice say "sleep tight"
