Chapter 2 - First Date

Lilly P.O.V

I grabbed my phone and walked out the door ready for lunch but I saw a car parked outside my house. "Hello Lilly, may I drive you there?" Aman asked. "Sure." I said blushing more than before. I thought to my self is this a date or just lunch out?

A couple minutes later we arrived at the café. "Table for 2 please." Aman said while handing my hand. "Yes sir, right this way," The waiter spoke leading us to a table, "Are you two dating?" There was the question I was hoping no one to ask. "Y...yes we are dating." Aman said. I stared at him in a mad way but I think he didn't notice.

We sat at the table ready to order. As I was saying my order he spoke over me and said " We would like Ice-cream  for 2 please." I was kinda happy since I like ice-cream. The waiter left, leaving me siting with just him. "Hey," I said, "Is this a date?" "Yes, I wrote it in the message I sent you." I turned on my phone, went on messages and there it was! Right there. "Oh... I didn't see that, sorry." I felt embarrassed, not seeing the message, thinking I was just grabbing lunch with him. But I think we would be a cute couple. We both like the same things, he look like a nice (and handsome) guy. Then he popped the question: "Lilly, will you be my girlfriend?" I didn't know what to say just to stand there frozen. What if my mum and dad find out? (Paramjeet and Manjeet) What if everything goes wrong? I would break his heart so I said, "Let's give it a shot, Aman!" He ran up to me and kissed me on the cheek, I blushed.

He drove me home and I ran to my room, laid on my bed and wondered to myself. I smiled.
