"This is crazy!" Hakyeon yelled when Taekwoon entered their house.

It was already 1 in the morning, so it shocked Taekwoon to hear Hakyeon's voice raised at him as he entered.

"Hakyeon? What-"

"You-," Hakyeon inhaled.

"You keep not coming back home! What? Is your studio your house now? Did you forget about me?" Hakyeon yelled again.

Taekwoon knew he pissed Hakyeon off right at that moment.

"Hakyeon-"

"Fuck you, alright?! I come home after work, prepare food for both of us, and you call me saying you'll be coming home late? You didn't do that shit once, Taekwoon, you pulled it, like, fucking ten times already, Jung Taekwoon!" Hakyeon's eyes glistened with tears.

'I fucked up, I fucked up,' Taekwoon thought.

"And half of the time, I wake up alone, alone, mind you, on the damn bed! What the hell are you doing, Taekwoon?!"

"Hakyeon, listen, I-"

"No, no, no," Hakyeon raised his hands up in frustration.

"You can save that shit for yourself!" Hakyeon screamed, and a thunder suddenly sounded outside. Hakyeon looked slightly intimidated, pausing afterwards for a few moments.

"I'm not, not, taking that crap today. Fuck it," Hakyeon's tears rolled down his cheeks as he stomped away, up the stairs, in frustration.

Taekwoon could only watch as Hakyeon left, leaving him alone downstairs. Lightning flashed as rain fell, hitting harshly against the windows of their house. Taekwoon dropped his bag onto the floor next to the couch, and sat down, burying his head into his hands.

"God damn it, Taekwoon," he frustratedly muttered to himself.

'You're a real fucking idiot.'

---

A storm was brewing up outside, similar to the storm inside Hakyeon. Hakyeon entered their room, slamming the door close. He threw himself onto their bed, and screamed into his pillow, punching the sheets.

As he screamed, lightning flashed and thunder clapped, and he felt his emotions become chaotic and unruly. Tears of frustration and fear rolled down his cheeks, faster than before. He couldn't control himself anymore. He kept screaming, and with every lightning, he was paused, flinching in fear.

He's alone in the dark room, a storm outside. The worst combination. He sobbed, and grabbed the blankets, covering himself from head to toe, crying.

He shook in fear, and cold sweat covered his forehead, making his bangs stick onto it. His palms felt clammy, and his lungs tightened. Suffocating, that's what he felt. He closed his eyes tight, wishing for himself to fall asleep so that he could forget about everything for awhile.

He hated Taekwoon, but still loved him at the same time. He hated Taekwoon, but he needed him to hold him right now. His emotions were out of control, and the storm scared him, pushing him off the edge.

"Taekwoon!"

---

Taekwoon lifted his head up when he heard a faint scream of his name coming from upstairs. He focused again, wondering if it was his hallucination. He was proven wrong when he heard another scream, louder this time. And then, he remembered.

Hakyeon is afraid of storms, lightning and thunder.

"Hakyeon!" He yelled as he ran upstairs, panicked. Hakyeon had told him how bad his fear had been, that he had once nearly suffocated himself trying to force himself to sleep during a storm.

He didn't want that to happen again to Hakyeon.

"Taekwoon! Help!" Hakyeon screamed.

"Hold on, I'm coming!"

Taekwoon twisted the door knob, pushing the door open. He saw a curled up figure on the bed, and he turned on the lights. He saw Hakyeon's face, and ran over.

Hakyeon was crying, sweating at the same time. He shook, trembling like a leaf, weak. Taekwoon touched Hakyeon's face, and Hakyeon grabbed his wrist with a cold, sweaty hand.

"Taek, I'm scared..." Hakyeon sobbed out.

Another lightning flashed and a loud thunder followed. Hakyeon screamed in fear, clinging onto Taekwoon's shirt. The wind blew hard, harsh enough that there was some sort of a whistling sound emitting alongside its blows.

"I'm here, Hakyeon," Taekwoon said, climbing onto the bed. Hakyeon hesitantly scooted, trying to give room to Taekwoon.

Taekwoon took Hakyeon into his arms, and held him close. Hakyeon sobbed into his chest, and Taekwoon didn't let go. Soon, the storm died down, and so did Hakyeon's sobs. Taekwoon held him throughout the night, never letting go. His one and only love in the whole entire world.

---

"Woon-ah. Taekwoon. Taekwoon!" Taekwoon stirred awake when a hand gently slapped his cheek.

"What?" He mumbled.

"I want to get up, and your arms are holding me back, and I don't want to be rude, and-"

"-Alright, I get it," Taekwoon let Hakyeon go, who stumbled off the bed, still wrapped up in the blankets. He looked back down onto Taekwoon, who sleepily stared back.

"What?"

"... I can never stay mad at you," Hakyeon said after giving out a small sigh.

"..."

"Wait! Does that mean you forgive me?" Taekwoon sat upright after thinking.

"I always do, dumbass. If I didn't, you wouldn't be here right no-" Taekwoon cut him off by happily getting off the bed, hugging Hakyeon from the back.

Hakyeon blushed, before smiling and leaning into the embrace. Taekwoon kissed the top of Hakyeon's head, grinning at him afterwards.

"Stop giving me that look, and go bath! You smell like a skunk, Taekwoon!"

"Love you too, honey."

"..."

"Honey?"

"We're not married yet, so don't use that nickname!"
