l'm deeply sorry to all of you who read this, l've ment to update but l had computer problems, all the chapters l had were erased and now l have to write bit by bit. This is more like a filler until the story actually starts. Thanks for reading!.

Lilly's POV

I walked around Hogwarts like I usually did when l was done with my works. l hadn't spoken to Harry in about a week or two... maybe three?. l thought, based on how long we had been friends, that he would atleast try to explain himself but he didn't, he was actually avoiding me and it hurt. l was suppose to be the one avoiding him not the other way around, right?.

"Lilly." l heard some one say. l stopped walking and turned around to be met by Cedric.

Un like Harry, Cedric and l had been speaking a lot these paste few weeks and l couldn't help but be a tad infatuated. He was sweet, caring, loyal, funny, smart and his looks were a bonus. He was a perfect fit for the Hufflepuffs.

"Yes Cedric?." l asked as l greeted him with a smile.

"l was wondering if maybe you would like to sit with me at the huffle puff's table... l mean since... well l waited a bit to be able to sit with you really." he said scratching the back of his head with a sweet smile. l couldn't contain my own as l nodded and followed him to the Great Hall.

When we were near the Great Hall the door opened revealing Harry, Ron and Hermione. l looked at Harry but he did what he usually did now a days, he looked at the ground. l sighed as l kept walking with Cedric by my side."This is riddiculous." l heard some one say. l turned around to see it had been Harry as he finally aknowledge me.

"Cedric i'll meat you in there." l said with a polite smile. He look past me as he turned serious.

"Are you sure Lilly?, l can stay with you if you please." he said.

"lt's ok i'll be there fater than you can say Riddikulus." l said grining as l reasured him, he smiled, nodded and entered the Great Hall.

"ls that your new friend." he spat.

l looked at him shocked. Harry was never one to be angry, but l re composed my self as l spoke, "Yes, he is my new friend, since the one l had can't even look me in the eyes. Aren't l suppose to be the one that can't stand seeing you anymore?." l said making Ron swallow rather loudly.

"Ronald, if i'm not mistaken we were heading over to the common room, to revise for Potions." Hermione said as she pulled Ron by his arm dragging him away from Harry's side.

"Can't stand to see me, why shouldn't you stand to see me Lilly?." he aske genuinly confused.

It's now or never Lilly.

l took in a deep breath as l looked at Harry in the eyes.

"You led me on Harrold, you acted as if you actually did care about me, you kissed me and then said it was an impulse, better yet you started the phrase saying it was nothing when it was everything to me." l said the last turning away from him, that is until he held me by my forearm.

"why did it mean everything to you, Lilly... do you fancy me?." he asked. My heart began to race as l looked into his eyes. l didn't say a word and he started leaning in. l quickly turned my face making him kiss my cheek instead.

"l have to go Cedric is waiting for me." l said getting freed from his grip.

"So that's it, you fancy Cedric now." Harry stated more than asked. l didn't say a word as l turned away from him. l wouldn't hurt my self anymore, l would try to forget Harry James Potter.

Harry's POV

l stood there as l saw Lilly walk away. l had lost her, l had lost my best friend, the girl l fancied... the girl l loved.

'Well well well if it isn't little old Potter. What's wrong Potter, Hemsworth finally realised how pathetic you are?" Malfoy said mockingly. l glared at him as l waled pat him. 

lt's a bad day when you loose someone you care about but it's a sad sad day when Malfoy is right, and l hated it. What he said was ture, l was pathetic, l couldn't get the courage to tell Lilly how l felt and when we kissed l said it ment nothing. l am pathetic.

"How did it go mate, where you songging?." Ron asked jokingly as l walked in to the common room. l looked at both him and Hermione and they seemed to get the hint. "She'll turn around mate." Ron tried to comfort. l just nodded hoping there was truth in Ron's words but as far as l knew, all l could do was hope.

But what if Lilly never comes around?.
