2 months.

It's been 2 months since you last saw Robbie.

But today he was coming back.

It's been just over a year and a half since the two of you met, and you had graduated high school. Some people said you wouldn't last as a couple, since he was a celebrity and was traveling constantly. But the two of you had never let other people's thoughts bother you. You and Robbie were still together, and your relationship was just as strong as it would be if you were together all the time.

So as you waited for him to arrive, you thought about little moments you'd had together.

Like the time you hadn't seen him in 3 weeks because he was filming a TV show.

The doorbell rang, and you rushed down the stairs, your socks causing you to almost slip on the wooden tile floor. You jerked the door open, spotting the green eyes you fell in love with. A wide smile spread across your face and you immediately threw your arms around your boyfriend's neck. His arms snaked around your waste and squeezed you. You felt butterflies in your stomach. His deep voice whispered in your ear, "I missed you, (Y/N)." His warm breath hit your ear, causing you to hug him even tighter. You reluctantly let go of him, as he did the same to you, and you placed a hand on his cheek. He smirked, knowing what was coming next. You pulled his face closer to yours, and then collided your lips onto his. The two of you pulled back.
"I missed you too, Robbie."

That moment would forever be ingraved in your mind, as it was one that immensely shaped your relationship into what it was today. Many memories had done so, like the one when he invited you to spend spring break with him in Florida. Or the one where he bought presents for you at every location he'd been while filming his last movie.

But the memory that influenced the two of you most was whenever he presented you with a velvet covered jewelry box.

"(Y/N)," Robbie said, as he lead you to a nearby fountain in the park you were strolling in. "My favorite thing is this world is when we're together."

You grinned and squeezed his hand that you were holding even tighter.

"Mine too," you told him, making his smile grow wider. You sat on the edge of the fountain, him releasing your hand from his grip. His hand went into his pocket and stayed there.

"And I would never want to live in a world where we weren't in each others lives," Robbie continued, looking down at his shoes. You nodded but didn't say anything this time, not wanting to interrupt his monologue. He took a deep breath. His eyes met yours as he kept talking. "I wish I could relive every good experience we've ever had together, because they're the best moments of my life. But I can't." He paused once again.

You were starting to get nervous. Why was he telling you this? "Robbie, I-"
But he cut you off.

"So let's make some more memories. Good ones, bad ones. Any would be amazing as long as you're in them. And I would really like you to be. So..." he trailed off. He got down on one knee and finally removed the hand he had placed in his pocket, revealing a small box.

Your heart pounded in your chest.
You stomach fluttered uncontrolably.
Your eyes teared up.

"(Y/N) (Y/L/N), would you make me the luckiest, happiest, and most grateful man alive by marrying me?"

Your mouth opened, but nothing came out as tears fell from your eyes and once again a smile formed on your lips. All you could do was nod vigorously. He stood back up and lifted you into the air, spinning you around and kissing your temple .

That was by far the best moment of your life. You looked down at the ring on your finger, twisting it around and admiring it's beauty.

The doorbell rang, startling you out of your daze. You internally squealed and raced to the door, then swung it open to see your fiancé standing there with a bouquet. You yanked him into your apartment and he placed the flowers onto your counter. You embraced him and he did the same. He wrapped his arms around your waist, as he does every time you hug.

"I missed you, darling," he said to you, not removing his arms from being wrapped around you. You placed your hands on his shoulders and rested your forehead against his.

"I missed you. And you know what else I missed?" you spoke with a light smirk.

He cocked up an eyebrow. "Hm?" he asked, waiting for your response.

"This," you whispered and pressed your lips against his, him automatically understanding and moving his lips in sync with yours. "I love you, Robbie Kay," you said in between kisses.

"And I love you," he responded.
