"WELCOME TO BELLE EVE PENITENTIARY!" Said Griggs in an enthusiastic yet still sarcastic tone, a security officer at the penitentiary, as Amanda Waller, Riley Flag, and a few bodyguards exited the loud helicopter. It was raining viciously, the rain practically stabbing the black umbrellas they stood under, while Griggs had his helmet on. Amanda eyed him and the building in the distance that held the world's dangerous men and women.

"Definitely not a welcoming place." Riley muttered under her breath, looking left and right, taking in the large penitentiary that was packed with security and cameras. The building was all cement and the high walls prevented prisoners to get out easily, and security officers were everywhere, watching every move on the island. If there weren't any security guards, the place would look abandoned, with the prisoners locked inside forever.

"Follow me." Griggs told them, interrupting Riley in her train of thought.

In ten minutes, Amanda and Riley separated to visit the potential members of Task Force X. Griggs followed Riley elsewhere, while Amanda went by herself to see Harley Quinn, led by a fellow security guard.

"Here she is." The guard said, opening the door to reveal a balcony with a railing of barbed-wire that reached the ceiling. Amanda looked down and she quickly spotted Harley's cell, which was placed in the middle of a courtyard, where she was sitting on the hard ground, hugging herself tightly.

Harley was in the usual orange prisoner uniform, with her platinum blonde hair in pigtails. She was a petite girl, with pale skin, and it was clear she wasn't okay by the way she was rocking herself back and forth with a few giggles here and there.

Somehow, Harley knew Amanda was analyzing her because she looked up and eyed Amanda closely in seconds. She got on her knees and slowly started crawling towards her, clenching her hands on the tight wires of her cell. "A-Are you the devil?" She asked blankly, at the red suit Amanda wore.

"I am only here to save you." Amanda replies, taking a deep breath. Harley's jaws were dropped, as she stared at Amanda, without a word.

Back with Riley and Griggs, they stood in front Deadshot's cell while a group of armed security guards raised their guns behind them, in case Deadshot attempted to strike. Griggs threw his fist against the steel cell door harshly. "Deadshot, wakey-wakey time!"

"I'm ready, fuckers!" Riley heard a shout from the other side, assuming it was Deadshot herself. She looked through the tiny window, and saw the vicious brunette, with her fists up and an evil look in her eyes. She looked pissed.

"Today is not your day, ma'am!" Griggs yelled sarcastically, obviously finding this whole thing hilarious to him.

"I swear to god, the second I get a gun in my hand, you're fucking dead!" Deadshot let out, now slamming her fists against the door several times in anger. She screamed in frustration, and Riley could tell she wasn't going to be easy to work with.

"Let her out and take her outside for her test run." Griggs informed the officers, and they nodded. He looked at Riley. "Shall we go see Su Diablo?"

Once Riley agreed, Griggs guided her out to the courtyard, them still being able to hear Deadshot's screams as they walked away from her fell. When they arrived at the bland courtyard, Griggs showed her a long and rusty-looking tank, which a window similar to the one Deadshot had. It was Su Diablo's personal cell.

Riley bent down in front of the window, and knocked. Inside sat Su Diablo, criss-crossed in the center, playing with her fire abilities. She looked up when she heard Riley's knocks, black paint circled around her dark eyes and tattooed covered all over her hands. "I need you to come out." Riley spoke loudly so Diablo could hear.

"No, I'm not leaving. I'm harmful—I shouldn't be let out." Su Diablo shook her head, looking into Riley's eyes emotionlessly.

"Really?" Riley insisted, knocking again. "You gotta come out sometime, it's not gonna kill ya."

"I don't care, and it may not kill me, but it'll kill others." She said in a rising voice. Her fists clenched. "Leave me alone!"

"You're capable of many things, Diablo, and changing now isn't going to do anything. Remember when you burned down an entire house and was caught in the act right after, huh? Don't tell me you forgot!" Riley reminded her, teasingly with a smirk.

"That wasn't me!" Diablo yelled, making Riley jump a little at the sudden response.

"You're joking, then who was it?" Riley continued.

Diablo's hands rose and she narrowed her eyes. "This." She called as she moved her hands as if she was showing a magic trick, revealing her special power of fire. Riley widened her eyes at the strange sight, it was something she's never seen before now, fire appearing out of someone's hands.

"Who's next?" Riley turned around and faced Griggs, grunting at Diablo's stubbornness to leave.

Griggs understood and told the two guards that stood behind them to think of a way to force Su Diablo out of her tank. Then, he licked his lips and said, "You ready to take on the sewers?"

"Why the sewer?" Riley questioned, even though she knew Griggs meant Killer Croc. She was just curious to know why the villain was down there, besides the obvious.

"Because she requested it."

Griggs, Riley, a four more guards took the long path that led to the sewers of the penitentiary. Of course, there were barely any cells down there, only older ones that weren't being in use or the rare occasion of someone being down there if they were that dangerous. It was very dark and water was leaking from the walls, with puddles all over the funky-smelling ground. Why would anyone want to be held captive here?

"Watch out, she's swimming." Griggs whispered to Riley, as one guard slammed his hand against the cell door, calling her out name. Griggs pointed at the typical small window, motioning for Riley to go up to and see the certain creature, which she obeyed.

It was very dark and eerie, Riley took in. An unmade bed was in the corner, the mattress beat up and the sheets ripped, and on the right side of the cell was a small pool that led to the sewage water. Riley could see the water begin to swish around, and almost like a trick you'd see at an dolphin show, Killer Croc jumped out, which startled her.

She growled, as Riley stared at her with her heart beating fast. The girl's skin was so scaly and didn't make her seem human at all. She still had the shape of a woman's body, though, and the blonde hair that looked like a mess on her scalp, but her muscles were quite defined and she had sharp teeth.

Honestly, she was terrifying to look at.

Riley felt a tug on her arm, and she finally looked away from the prisoner and to Griggs. "They got Deadshot out in the courtyard." He said, pointing to a new guard who was breathing heavily, due to the running they just did.

Without a second thought, Riley left the sewers and Killer Croc with the other guards, to the courtyard with Griggs. She wanted to spend as little time as she can down there, it was just so creepy.
