MY DETECTIVE

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

       By the time the van arrived at the hospital the nurses rushed them to the emergency room but before  they entered  into the room everyone saw the both of them and they all felt worried. Mr Hernandez arrived at the hospital worried sick about his daughter. He stayed there for a long time before the doctor came out and said "The young lady by the name Miss Isabelle , does she have anyone for her here" then her father said "Yes I am her father and what happened to her ?" he said . Then the doctor said to him "She inhaled smokes but we are trying to detox her , she will live" he said. There  was silence in the room and a sigh of relief among everyone . Then Mr Hernandez  decided to go into his daughter's room to stay with her and keep her company. Then another doctor came out and said "Who here is a relation of Mr Pablo Dominguez" she said then Paolo said in an anxious way saying "I am his friend  please can I know what happened to him" then Amanda said "I hope nothing happens to Pablo cause it won't be good at all" she said . When Paolo came back from the doctor's office looking all sad and said to the people outside saying " He is in a coma , according to the doctor he said that Pablo's situation is a critical one and it is only by a miracle that he might wake up " he said.
           Everyone was quiet and gloomy but by night fall when all of them went home Amanda and Paolo stayed behind to take care of Pablo. The most worried of two of them was Amanda. Paolo was worried because he knew that she never knew him then he asked saying "What are you really worried about him, did you ever know him? "he said with a suspicious face. Then she answered saying " He's your friend and you haven't seen him for a long time and this happens and why can't be caring for anyone ,so you don't trust me "she said playing the victim then Paolo said "I was just curious ,and don't you ever doubt my love for you " he said and kissed her forehead.  Then Isabelle's dad was with her although that night with her and he slept by her bed  Then he heard a voice saying slowly saying "Dad where am I and where is Pablo" she said confused and worried. Then her dad said slowly "You are in the hospital my dear ,cause you just survived an accident, that guy you were with he is not important"he said. Then she said to him " I want to see Pablo now because he saved  my life" she said but her father tried luring her to forget about him but she was too persistent and when he refused to listen she tried attempting to stand up but she was stopped by her dad . Her dad said " Ok you'll have your way , I will go ask about him" he said then he went out through the door and asked the doctor how Pablo was doing on the doctor told him the truth saying " He is in a coma and in critical situation" she said . When he heard that he was internally happy that his daughter will forget about him finally. Then he picked his phone and said to his men saying "What you did there with the guy was risky and I will attend to that later but now I have a job for you and it's for you to come here later a d end this man's misery " he said then dropped his phone . He went into his daughter's room and told her everything the doctor said as if he as feeling for the guy. When the news was broken to her she became sad and cried all through that night and refused to talk to anyone at all. All what was in her head was how will Pablo survive and also people she love always die she said in her mind while subbing. Mr Hernandez just allowed her cry and left her to continue crying till she's done .
          On the other room Paolo was in the room with Amanda watching over Pablo and he decided saying " I will go get coffee for both of us to take and ease the pressure" he said . Then as soon as he went out she walked slowly to Paolo's  bed and said silently "Why did this have to happen to you now" she said then she leaned closer to him and gave him kisses on his lips from bottom to up and she said " I love you Pablo" she said. Then tears started running down from her eyes slowly and she became sad. By the time Paolo came back he saw her in that state and gave her the coffee and held her tight so as to create a scene of comfort that night was a terrible one that no one was expecting at all from that day.
