Chapter 2

We arrived at the mall and we walked inside. I looked around to see if anyone I knew was here and not much to my suprise karleys boyfriend and his best friend was here. Karleys boyfriend was honestly very good looking he had brown hair and brown eyes and his name was Jacob. His best friend was also very good looking and I always seemed drawn to him. He had blonde hair and shocking blue eyes, his name is Mason. We walked twoards them and Karley mealted in Jacobs arms and they began making out.

Mason and I awckwardly stood there and I glimpsed up and saw him looking at me and smirking. I shyly smilled and looked down but he got my attention when he spoke. "So Katie how have you been?" I looked at him and replied even tho I hated talking to preps like him since there life's mention is to ruin my life " Is this some kind of trick? or do you really care how I've Been?"

"Honestly I just didn't wanna watch that! but now that I have your attention let me ask you another question?"

"sure. what worse could it get?"

"How long is it gonna be until you finally realize you like me and let me date you?" with that question my mouth fell open and I could tell that we had gained the attention of Karley and Jackson "HA! you think I'm gonna fall for you?? you are funnier than I thought Mason! As much as most every other girl would be honered I wouldn't be so ha no. never. ever. ever. "

My sister grabbed my arm and dragged me off and began and started screaming at me. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU NEED TO GO AND ACCEPT HIM!"

"gah why can't I make my on decisions! At least let me get to know him! If all I'm gonna get by. coming here is using screaming at me and guys hitting on me then I'm out!" I screamed back she looked at me then dragged me over to the guys. She told them goodbye and we went into a store and began shopping.

She ended up buying me like 15 outfits and said it was because I will get to know this boy and I will like him. As we were paying I felt someone come up behind me and grab my arm and pull me back. I turned around and saw Mason standing there as he spoke. Do these guys ever give up? "Look Katie. I sware I'm not as bad as everyone makes me out to be. If you give me a chance I can show you so please..." He backed away from me and somehow magicly brought out a rose and screamed "KATIE BRUMFIELD WILL YOU PLEASE GO WITH ME ON A DATE THIS WEEKEND?" I could feel heat growing in my cheeks and I knew that he wasn't gonna stop unless I agreed. So I just nodded my head he smilled and said "Ill pick you up tomorrow at six. See ya later babes." and with that he walked away and I stood there in shock.

My sister squealed and then took my hand and dragged me to the car. The rest of the day we drove around and she made me tell her everything that happened. I couldn't beileve she was acctually interested in my life for once. I told her everything and she went on and on about double dates and my outfit and my hair and other things I could care less about. We ate some lunch and then returned home. I got a shower and put my hair in a bun and put on my glasses. I layed in my bed and was almost asleep until I got a message from an unknown number 'Can't wait for tomorrow. Make sure and look nice its gonna be the best night of your life.
