Hope you like it!

"Hello daughter" said the beautiful red headed women floating in front of me. I smiled my mother; my real mother was hovering before me while light radiated from her. I knew I was dreaming as soon as I saw her. My birth mother was only able to visit me in my dreams because she said it was too dangerous to visit in person. I looked into the eyes of my mother. She had the most beautiful eyes they were bright blue and seemed so infinitely deep and all knowing. My gaze left her eyes and took in her face. She seemed even more perfect then I had remembered. She had soft features with light creamy skin, rosy, pink cheeks, and pink lips that would make any man want her. I felt so proud. This was my mother and I was her daughter. "Mother I've missed you so much" I squealed as I rushed to give her a hug. "As I have you my child" she responded as she brought me into a tender hug. I smiled up at her and she returned the smile lovingly. I pulled away from her slowly and took in my surroundings. I could see nothing but clouds and light; it was the most wonderful place I had ever seen. My mother soft angelic voice pulled me away and she began speaking. "Daughter it is nearing the time of your change; so you must be careful not to draw the attention of any of the supernaturals. You will be changing and it is best if no one notices. " I looked at her confused, "Want kind of changes will I be going through mother?" She let a small laugh pass her lips and then she explained, "You will become what you were always meant to be. You will change soon and then you shall return to your true home with your family. Goodbye daughter I must leave but remember that I love you my dear Lumieria"

I awoke to the sound of Grilgore, my adopted dad, banging furiously on my door. "Get up you lazy good for nothing" he yelled as he slowly walked down the stairs to go to work. Damn that impatient troll. I hated my adopted dad since I had first met him. He was an overweight slob of a troll who had a short temper that matched his 4'5" height. He didn't like me anymore than I liked him and he showed his distaste for me often by either yelling at me or the occasional slap across the face. My adoptive mother Teresa, the dopey elf, just stood by and watched and did absolutely nothing. She did not like conflict so she would turn her head and look away. Don't get me wrong Teresa was nice and sweet, but I would never forgive her for letting Grilgore hit me.

I looked over at the clock next to my bed and saw that it was 7:00. Shit! I have to get up and get ready. So I hastily got out of bed and made my way over to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and returned to my room with a beaming smile. The shower always seemed to calm me and relax my mind. I walked slowly over to my closet and removed the school uniform from my closet and laid it on my unmade bed. I quickly changed into my uniform and peered at myself in my full-length mirror. I looked at myself, at every part of me. I was looking more and more like my mother. I could see my features changing every day becoming less normal, more supernatural. I stared at my curly red-brown hair and my deep blue eyes. My mother said that when I grew closer to my transformation I would become beautiful beyond words. At first I did not believe her, but with each passing day I begin to see truth in her words. I was changing into something different. I pulled my attention back to the mirror and tried to "uglify" myself. I was not allowed to bring attention to myself for some reason that my mother was yet to explain to me. So I put my curly red locks into a low ponytail and put on my over-sized old lady glasses that covered half of my face. Then I turned my attention to my uniform. I pushed down my skirt as low as it could go so that it sat at my knee; then I pulled on a baggy sweatshirt that hid my curves. I looked at the newly transformed girl in the mirror. I looked like a goblin or a troll, but I knew it was needed. I slipped on so brown knee-high socks and a pair of plain black ballet flats. My head turned to look at the clock and saw that it was 7:45. "Great" I mentally thought; I had 15 minutes to get to school.

I exited my house and found that it had started to rain. Fantastic this day was going to be bad one I could already tell. I made haste and got to school with a few minutes to spare. I go to the supernatural prep school, Willington Heights. On the outside it may seem like a normal prep school to the unsuspecting mortals, but on the inside it is a school for the all of the supernatural creatures that live in the area. The school is made up of vampires (the whores and manwhores of the school), werewolves (the jocks), fairies (the preppy over-excited suck-ups), the witches (the emos), and a whole bunch of others. I fit in with the elves because I don't fit in with anyone else. I know I'm not an elf, but I know that I am not like any of the others at this school either so I just hang with them. The elves are the "theatre geeks" of the school. The majority of them love music, dancing, and theatre. I think that is why I seem to fit in with them the most. I love to dance and music is one of my few comforts.

"Lumieria! Hey wait up!" shouted a voice from behind me. I turned and saw James my only friend. He was a cute little elf who had chestnut brown hair and a baby face with murky green eyes. He was a sweet kid who seemed to be the only person in the school who really looked at me. He was a shy guy and it took him years of school for him to open up to me, but once he did he never shut up. "Hey" I responded with a bright smile. He seemed dazzled and dumbstruck for a few seconds as he stared into my eyes. I turned my face away. Crap! I have to look normal around him because he seemed to see through my glasses and baggy layers. I have to "uglify" my expressions too I guess. I must take after my mom's ability to produce a smile that could make any man, even supernatural, drool. I turn back to James and ask him how his weekend was. This seemed to have snapped him out of a thought. "Oh. It was boring. I did absolutely nothing except study", He rampled "How bout you?" "Yeah about the same for me too. The troll was a jerk the whole weekend, though. Well when he wasn't drunk off his ass on the couch" I said with a chuckle at the end. "Haha. Yeah. Your dad is such a piece of work."

We continue our socializing as we stroll into school together. Me and James split up and headed to our locker. I approach my locker and find two vampires making out on my locker. The two are sucking face and I also notice that the girl's neck is bleeding. The blood drink always grosses me out, but also vamps seem to not care that they are in the middle of the hallway doing it. "Excuse me" I say softly to the two sexed up vamps. They pretend not to notice me and continue groping all over each other and moaning. "Excuse Me!" I almost yell at them. That got their attention. The boy pulled his face out of the girl's neck and stares at me with pissed off eyes. God he was really hot even if he looks like he wants to kill me. This mystery vamp had black as night hair with strong cheek bones and beautiful pink lips. His eyes were deep blue and reminded me of my mothers in a way. "Come on babe lets go. This stupid elf is being annoying" says the bitchy looking blonde that is leaning on my locker. She was pretty I guess, but not all the beautiful. "Sure baby. Whatever" the vamp guy moans as he took the hand of the blonde and runs from the hall with inhuman speed.

I open my locker and get my books that I will need. I walk to my first period slowly dreading every step as I get closer to the door. I hated my first hour I was boring, but then again I hate all of my classes. School passes at a blinding slow pace. When the bell finally rings at seventh period I rush out of the room to meet James. "Hey you stupid elf" says an annoying high female voice from behind me. I turn to find the whore from this morning that was sucking face with the hot vamp. I don't want to deal with her right now so I continue walking until I feel a hand on my shoulder pull me to a stop. "Hey I want to talk to you. You dirty little half breed." I turn around while she is saying this. I am so pissed right now. How dare she call me a half breed. My mom told me that I come from one of the highest and most powerful supernatural families. I couldn't contain my anger so without thinking I blurt out "Shut up you vamp whore." That felt good, but as I look into her eyes I can see that see is about to flip out on me crap. The other thing vamps are known for are their short tempers. "What. Did. You. Say" she hisses through clenched teeth. I really don't want a fight because that would draw attention, but I could not make myself say sorry to her. So I just put a cocky smile on my face and looked her right in the eyes. "You know what little elf you are so dead" she yells as she lunges at me.
