'' Is this nigga ok?"'' Obviously he isn't, Ty"
"Well excuse me"
I heard footsteps walk off and felt a person presents over me. I slowly opened my eyes and a beautiful girl face in mine.
"You ok?" she smiled.
"Uh, yeah" I groaned. She continued to smile then backed away from me, giving me some space. I sat up staright. I looked around the dark room filled with art, different pictures of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, other regge artists, rock artists, pictures of people smoking blunts.
The parts of the wall you could see were dark grey. They wrote quoates from poems, books and famous people all around their room.
"Woooow, nice place you got here" I smiled, nodding my head.
"Thanks" she cheesed. "Ty and I decorated it" she continued, poitning back at him. He turned around with a blunt hanging out of his mouth. "Sup" he mumbled and lighted it up.
"Ty put that away!" she complained.
"Bro is it ok if I do this?" he asked looking at me. "I don't care" I shrugged. He smirked and blew out a bunch of smoke. She rolled her eyes and looked back at me. She took a seat next to and picked with my dreads.
"So, um why am I here?" I asked her.
"We saw you laying on the ground so Ty and I helped you up and brought you here" she told me. "Why were you on the ground anyway?"
"Some crazy bitch hit me with her book" I snarled.
"Who was she?" Ty and her asked in unison.
"That brit-"
"Leigh-Anne" they said in unison, cutting me off. The both shook like crazy and went back to normal.
"We hate her with a passion" Ty said, walking around blowing smoke out.
"Why?"
"She's my step sister" Ty groaned. "She stole my boyfriend in the 9th grade" the girl continued after Ty. "But I'd prefer not to talk about Leigh-Anne" the girl said rolling her eyes once again.
I nodded and continued to look round the room again.
"I'm Gina, but people call me G" she smiled. "And you're?"
"Rayan but I've been called Flow all my life" I told her.
"Why 'Flow'?" Ty asked, walking over to us.
"Well when I was in 8th grade we had a talent show going on" I said thinking about that night. "I lost a bet so I had to do something. I realized I couldn't sing, dance, be funny or draw. I had to do something but they wouldn't let me take my name off." I sighed.
"I went to my teacher and asked her for help. She told to do something that I find easy, so I picked writing." I smiled. "Around that time my dad had left and as a growing boy I wanted my father around" I admitted. "So, I wrote a poem about how I missed him, need him to talk to me and all the other shit."
"I wrote the poem, read it to the whole school and won 2nd place. I flet pretty good about my self and continued to write poems & stories. I noticed how easily everything came to me when writing so my friends and family started calling my Flow" I shrugged.
"Such..such a beautiful story!" G squealed like a little fangirl. Ty rolled his eyes and continued to smoke.
"I'm glad to know you're a creative person like Ty and I" G smiled. "I take photos" she started. "And I write songs" he finished.
"I could kinda tell" I laughed, looking around their room. "How'd you guys meet?" I asked them.
"G and I met in detention in 8th grade" Ty smirked. "After that day we came best friends" he continued looking at G.
"Oh, I thought y'all were dating" I laughed.
"EWWWW" they both shouted in disgusted. "I could never date this nigga" G said looking up and down. "Girl, quit tripping! You know you want my fine, yellow ass" he said getting up and shaking his butt in her face. "Boy mooooovveee" she laughed and slapped his butt.
He smiled at her and walked off to the other side of the room. I smiled at them. "You guys are weird" I told them.
"You wanna be weird with us?" she asked, crossing her legs.
"What do you mean?" I questioned.
"Do you want to hang out with us is what she means, Flow" Ty said looking through their fridge.
"Yeah, you guys seem fun" I smiled.
"Seem? Nigga we invented the word fun!" Ty screamed.
"Ok, the highness is started to kick in now" G said, shaking her head. I smiled and scratched my head not knowing what to say next.
"Well, thanks for picking my guys up, I really appreciate that you looked after me" I grinned.
"No problem, Flow" G said getting up off the couch. I got up to and put my jacket back on. "Do you know were my bike is?" I asked.
"Oh that was YOUR bike?" G asked. I nodded slowly. What could they have done to my bike.
"We let someone take it, ooops" G said with a nervous smile. "It's ok" I lied. I walked towards the door and began to leave out.
"Don't forget you come see us, Flow" Ty said getting his head out of the fridge.
"I won't" I replied to both of them. "Bye G, bye Ty" I said.
"Bye!" the waved in unison. I nodded my head and walked out of their house and started walking my way back to the dorms.
