ONTO THE STORY!
Dani's P.O.V
Dani sat on the couch with her knees to her chest. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear Santana asking her which flavor ice cream she wanted. "Baby?" Dani suddenly looked to Santana as soon as her voice brought her back to earth. "Which flavor did you want? Salted Caramel or Vanilla?"
She shrugged and said 'Whichever you want" then softly sighed. Santana noticed the soft sigh and sat next to Dani then kissed her cheek.
"Whats wrong beautiful? Why is a pretty girl like you upset?" San looked into Dani's eyes with her own eyes filled with love and worry.
She then quietly said, "What if Im not enough for you? Like what if Im just holding you back and you can be so much happier with another girl? A prettier girl or something." Dani looked down and started playing with the hem of the blanket only to look up to Santana snorting in laughter. She furrowed her eyebrows and pouted. "Why are you laughing? This is serious San."
Santana playfully shook her head then pecked her girlfriend's lips. "You're crazy, you know that? Silly too!" Dani kept pouting by jutting out her bottom lip and it slightly quivered. Santana started to notice the tears forming in Dani's eyes and her heart broke. "No no no baby, please dont cry! I didnt mean to upset you!" She quickly cupped Dani's cheeks and wiped away the tear with her thumb then whispered "When I first met you at the diner, I would find any excuse just to catch glimpses of you. I polished the spoons, forks and knives about 8 times and I would do it for more but Gunther had to be a sight-block and take my eyes away from you. Ill admit I was so terrified cause I knew I was falling hard for you, I was falling in true love but the thing is you havent even said a word to me at the time and I kept thinking of ways to strike up a conversation with you because I realize that whenever Im around you, I just, as Rachel would say, have no game." A smile was growing on Dani's face. Santana went on, "And when you did talk to me, you remember how I was! I kept stuttering my words! You just had that effect on me. So to answer your question, you are more than enough for me from the moment I first laid eyes on you. I just knew in my heart that you are the only girl for me." San took her girlfriend's hand and placed it on top of her chest. "If my heart could talk, it would be singing I love you non stop but since I have a voice, I want to tell you that Im madly, crazy, deeply in love with you and I couldnt ask for anything else but just to have you in my life" Santana slowly leaned in and softly kissed Dani on the lips, hoping to communicate all the passion she had for her in one simple touch. Dani pulled away slowly looking into her girlfriends eyes and whispered a quiet I love you as she cuddled back into Santana. Santana lips curved into a smile as she continued watching tv.
