"Faithlyn it's time for a run." My bestfriend Austin told me. He takes me out for a run every week I guess you can say it's a routine, I signed before sitting up from my bed, "Okay let's go." I don't mind being in my pajamas at all I honestly don't care.
Me and Austin exited my room, we like to run all the way to the lake it's very beautiful honestly. The water is a beautiful pale blue that glistens in sunlight.
It has multiple healthy trees, shrubs, flowers and bushes. There are logs also, but you have to be careful. If you go too far down the lake you'll end in someone else's territory, well half of the lake is on our land half is theres.
Me and Austin went outside, we both went behind different trees and shifted. We don't mind seeing each other naked actually. We're best friends who are really, really close. How close? Ummm you don't wanna know.
After I shifted into my snow white wolf with an ombre of black Austin shifted into his dark brown wolf. Austin wasn't paying attention so I nuzzled my nose into his neck trying to get his attention.
'You okay Austy?' I asked in our mind link. 'Yeah I was telling your Dad we were going' He replied looking at me.
I loved the grey eyes of his wolf, they stares deeply in mine before running of. I snapped out of my gaze running after him. The lake was about 1 hour away so we had enough time to get our run then relax before running back home.
'Austin I think somethings wrong. We've been passed the lake' With that Austin stopped in his tracks turning around to face me. 'Damn it Skylar you should have told me that means-'
He was interrupted by hard growls, Austin instantly stood infront of me. "Shift back." The guy I think is the beta commanded. We both went to different trees and shifted back and changed, I had a crop top and denim shorts along with converses.
Austin just had a shirt, jeans and some shoes. We both stepped out to see the 3 men still standing there. When I stepped out there was an intoxicating sent.
The alpha stared at me taking in every detail. Austin noticed that and wrapped his arm around my waist earning a growl from the alpha. "Sorry alpha we will exit your land immediately, we didn't notice we have crossed it." Austin bowed his head in respect so did I.
"Bullshit." The beta cursed. "What pack are you from?" He asked. "We're from the DimondSky pack, I'm Alpha Ryder's Daughter, and this is my boyfriend?" Austin looked at me strangely. "Austin... I'm the beta's son."
"And, no she isn't my girlfriend we're bestfriends." He covered up my panic blurt. The Alpha never stopped his gaze on me.
'FAITH! FAITH!" My wolf Skylar called for me, 'What?' She was Jumpy and seemed very happy. I haven't taken any drugs, what was making her that was.
What she told me next took me by surprise.
'MATE!'
