I turned my head out the window and stared at the small apartment block I hadn't realized I'd become so familiar with. My eyes glanced up at the second story window before diverting down to the entrance door where a woman was emerging. The woman from room 15B. She was an old woman and I'd always see her roaming the halls. Today, she had a black garbage bag in her hand and she trudged towards the bins that sat out the front of the block. I listened to her slippers shuffle and I nervously fiddled with the buzzing phone in my hands that I continued to ignore. She opened the bin and as she heavily tossed the bag or garbage inside, her eyes slowly trailed up to my car, taking in my appearance. She'd seen me before. She knew who I was and she wasted no time in tugging on her robe before quickly rushing inside.
I looked down at my phone.
*Are you here yet?*
*I'm waiting for you.*
*Where are you?*
It buzzed again.
*I'm coming down to wait for you.*
Shit. I switched off the ignition and tugged on my seat belt until I was free. Hastily, I tumbled out of the car, shutting it behind me and locking it blindly as I regrettably started up the path. Tucking my phone into my pocket I messily tied up my hair into a ponytail and wiped my eyes. Why was I still doing this?
I pushed the door open and just as I started towards the elevator, the silver doors slid open and he walked out, immediately taking in my appearance. He was clad in his usual. Black. Skinny jeans, Converse and a singlet.
I stopped as he strode up to me. I let out a small squeal as he gripped my forearm and pressed his body against mine.
"What took you so long?" He almost growled.
"I- I didn't... There was traffic-"
"Bullshit, I saw your car sitting out there and you didn't even answer my texts."
"I..." I didn't know what to say. I really didn't have an excuse other than I didn't want to see you.
He tugged on my arm and forced my eyes to his.
"Didn't you want to see me?"
My eyes glanced over his shoulder to the elevator doors opening, silently praying someone strong would step out and come to my rescue, which I doubted. Everyone in this building knew my name and my face and none of them wanted anything to do with me.
"Answer me Bree!" He yelled, gripping my arm tighter.
I whimpered and the dainty woman that stepped out stopped in her tracks. He turned over his shoulder to look at the helpless woman, his eyes narrowing on her. Her eyes sympathetically glanced at me, before realizing she would be of no help to me and quickly kept walking.
He turned back to me.
"I'm sorry Jye," I started. I didn't have an excuse.
Turning back to me, I noticed how incredibly dark his eyes had become. He didn't answer, instead he tugged on my arm and pulled me towards the elevator.
When we were inside, the doors closed, leaving just the two of us alone. I had managed to wriggle out of his grip and now stood a mere meter away from him. The elevator didn't provide much space but it was better than how close we were before. It was quiet. My fingers softly rubbed over the sensitive skin on my arm that his fingers had surely bruised.
I hadn't realised he had been staring and I flinched when his hand reached over to my sore arm. When I stepped away, he stepped closer, closing the space between us as my back stopped up against the elevator wall.
"Let me see," he ordered.
I kept my arm away from his reach and turned my face away, but he wasn't having it. He hated it when I was stubborn.
Forcefully, he grabbed my chin and forced my face towards him, pressing his lips to mine. My eyes squeezed shut as he tried to move his lips against mine.
"I'm sorry," he murmured against my stubborn lips. I knew he wasn't.
His hand reached up and without warning, tugged the hair tie from my hair. My hand went up to stop him but he had already released it and let it fan around my face.
"I told you I hated when you tied it up."
I nodded and he met my eyes.
"So why did you?" He asked.
My heart was beating rapidly as he pressed himself against me. His body heat was warm and his body was heavily resting against mine.
"Don't do it again," he ordered. "Do you here me, Bree?"
I nodded.
He sighed.
Being difficult with him was the only thing I'd ever known how to do. I never liked to give in to him. I didn't like giving him what he wanted. He always just treated me like a child anyway.
He kissed me again. Hard. It lasted longer and he enjoyed how much I tried to resist. He liked this game. And when the elevator doors open, the game would just get better.
Well, better for him.
Worse for me.
( There's the first chapter up. I'm excited for you to read more of what I've written. Hope you all enjoy xxx )
