Gumball's Pov

I was at my house sitting lazily on the couch while watching TV with my dad, I groaned and closed my eyes, taking a good nap.
Gumball, Gumball? Gumball, wake up sweetie…
I heard a sound whispering in my ear, I opened my eyes and saw my mom calling my name softly.
"Gumball, wake up…" She said gently.
"W-what time is it?" I rubbed my eyes.
"It's 12 in the midnight, dear…"
"What? Then why are you awake?"
"Well, I was doing my job…"
"Okay…"
"Come on, let's go upstairs…"
"But I haven't eaten yet…"
"You already did, dear"
"How?"
"Well, while you were sleeping…"
My eyes were very tired, I couldn't even hear or understand my mom.
Oh, dear…
I could already feel my mom's arms wrapped around me, carrying me from upstairs.
The next morning, I saw Darwin looking at me very closely.
"What happened?"
"You were very sick last night, bro…"
"Oh…"
"Now come on, let's go downstairs for breakfast…"
"Wait, you still haven't eat breakfast yet?"
"Yes because Darwin was waiting for you to wake up…" My mother said.
"Really?" I looked at my mom.
"Yep…" She nodded her head.
I turned around and looked at Darwin, he smiled and I gave him a hug.
"Oh, this is very touching…" Mom said while being touched.
"Now come on, let's go downstairs…"
"Okay…"
Darwin and I went downstairs, and I saw Carrie sitting on the couch with dad.
"Carrie?" Both me and Darwin said.
"Oh, hey guys!" Carrie waved.
"What are you doing here?" I questioned.
"I came here to see if you are okay…" Carrie blushed.
