Chapter Two

Carrie and I stared for a moment, with our bodies went stiff. Mom went downstairs slowly as a snail, I heard a creak from the floor and turned around with my face full with anger.
"Mom! You didn't tell me?" I yelled.
"Tell what? I told you the whole thing!"
"You didn't tell me about Carrie!" I pointed at Carrie.
"Sorry…"
"Fine…" I crossed my arms. "But this is your last straw…"
"Okay…" She groaned.
She went back downstairs with her face was full with sadness. Her mouth is sad, her eyes is sad, her whole face is sad.
"Woah…" Carrie said.
"Yeah, I know…" Darwin stated and turned around to face me. "Man, that was too harsh!"
"It was?" I turned around with a lonely face.
"Mmhm…" Darwin nodded his head.
"Oh…" I looked down to the floor.
"No, it wasn't harsh…" Carrie said in a low tune. "It was cool!"
"What?!?" Darwin said in disbelief.
"Really? You really think so?" I said while staring at Carrie's beautiful, black eyes.
"Mmhm, definetely!" She smiled cheerfully.
Carrie and I stared each other as our cheeks went tomato red. But Carrie's phone vibrated, ruining the moment.
"Oh, sorry. I gotta go now…"
"Ok…" I looked down.
Carrie went close to me and leaned closer to my face, she kissed me on the forehead and smiled.
"Bye…"
"Bye…" I smiled and blushed.
She went to the door and waved goodbye, I looked at her face and waved back.
At the bedroom, I was still awake. I was staring at the ceiling thinking about Carrie, I let out a sigh and a smile. I closed my eyes and slept.
