Then there it was, my special day, my B-day. I'm finally 16. Yung araw na pinakahihintay ko. Yung araw na kung saan mahahanap ko na din ang lalaking nakatadhana para sa akin.

I did my usual routine. Ligo, bihis, kain, toothbrush, ayos ng itsura and I'm done! I just can't believe that I still have this extraordinary beauty of mine even I just do what simple girls do. Haaaay.

I went downstairs looking for my brother. I checked all the rooms, and yet there's no sign of him. I sighed knowing that my brother was already ahead of me. Lage naman siyang nangunguna sa school eh. Anyways, I don't care anymore.. well.. I guess a little you could say.

Finally I'm here in school. As I entered, the corridors and hallways that were filled with chatters and murmurs were replaced with silence. I felt every pair of eyes on me. I knew they were taking in my appearance. But suddenly this silence were intruded by...

"LIAAAAAAAAANZ! HAPPY B-DAAAAAAAAY BABY BURN BABY BURN UGH!" sigaw ng pinakahyper na si Beth.

I heard low chuckles.

"Beth." I raised a middle finger that was only visible to her. When she saw it, she started laughing like a maniac. Gross.

"HAPPY B-DAY TO YOU~" pakanta naman na sabi ni Patricia. Eto namang sina Angela at J-anne na pa-add sa effects na nagspreaspread ng confetti.

Actually I'm not sure kung sprineaspread o tinatapon sa mukha ng mga students. Everyone started to hum and sing the B-day song.

Never had I felt humiliated in my whole life.

I was interrupted in my thoughts when I smell something that made my wolf crazy.

It was a different smell. It was so strong yet so sweet. I began to be addicted to the smell. I search in the crowd the direction of that smell. My wolf was craving for it and never did I felt this way before. I almost lost hope until..

"Kuya Lyle?..." I whispered as my eyes landed on him.

'Mate.' my wolf said. I was so shocked and surprised. I didn't know what to feel.

"Mate" I said this time. "...m-mate." nag-aalinlangang sabi ni kuya Lyle.

And that was the beginning of the story that I wish never had been written on the book of my life.
