Before you start reading just keep in mind that I wrote this story when I was thirteen. My writing skills have gotten way better since then. I want readers to focus on the storyline itself rather than the grammatical errors. I have way more chapters that I'm planning on posting so if you liked this first chapter, be sure to add this story to your reading list to keep track because the story gets really good.

 Prologue

"Hello Mrs. Porter." Larissa said.

"Oh hello " Mrs. Porter said.

"Listen!" Larissa said. “Well I need more English credits for the college program I’m applying for. And I know this sounds weird but I wanted to ask if I could do something to get them?"

"Well you’re a pretty good student  in my class" Mrs. Porter said. “How many more credits do you need?"

"Um. about 4." Larissa said.

"Oh wow!" Mrs. Porter said.

"Well I know it’s a lot." Larissa said. “But I’m one of your best students all I want is like a big project or something."

"Well I'll think about it." Mrs. Porter said. “You weren't the only person to ask me for extra credits for college. I’ll see what I can do"

"Thank you!" Larissa says as she walks out the door. Mrs. Porter continues setting up the desk for her next class to come in. The first person to walk through the door was Ashley York.

"Mrs. Porter" She said in a rude impatient tone.

"Yes Ashley." Mrs. Porter said staying calm and pleasant.

"I need extra credits." Ashley said. “I’m not going to a community college ya know."

"Ok Ashley." Mrs. Porter said. “I understand what you’re saying and I understand your concern so I..." Ashley cut her off.

"Listen." She said. "I don’t need to hear anything other then what I’m asking I just need a simple yes or no ok."

“Oh Ashley how you’ve changed so much” Mrs. Porter sighed as she starting setting up the papers on her desk. “You used to be the sweetest thing. And now you’re the rudest."

"Don’t get on my nerves" Ashley said. “I came here nice and kind and polite and now you’re getting rude." Mrs. Porter laughed and then looked up at Ashley.

"Ashley sit down and take out your books." She said.

The next day was a windy April 18th. The students were stressed and tired from finishing up their college applications and figuring out what they wanted to major in. Mrs. Porter’s class was silent and fresh like the forest after its morning rain. Mrs. Porter was a peaceful and laid back like she was lying down on a hammock looking at the clouds. However, the students were not. The kids were tired and nervous because of their full week of testing.

“Mrs. P." A boy said fro' the back row. “Is it ok if we just chill today?"

" I guess it is." Mrs. Porter answered." You guys are tired and I’ve barely had my lesson planned." Mrs. Porter then got up from her desk revealing her black mini skirt and red high heels with her red velvet blouse to top it off. She then stepped in front of the class.

At the time, Delayna Cross, Star Atkins and Marifa Gold were in the class room. Mrs. Porter or anyone looking at them could tell that they weren’t fond of each other. Delayna's desk was to the right of Star Atkins but was turned over to the left where Marcus Bradley was. She wasn't having a conversation with him. Delayna would not be caught dead sitting near or chatting with people that weren't down wit her. Marifa Gold was sitting behind Marcus and started roller her eyes because he kept streching his arm back on her desk and hitting her in her collar bone without apologizing."
