Glistening saris ,with big pearl pieces
their eyes with glitter and everyone freezes
Parents usually have numb eyes
They say they are happy ,but those eyes reflect lies
They are happy that there children are settling
But girl's parents are battling
the apple of their eye
the proud of father
The love of mother
Would be very soon saying bye
Boy's parents are happy
That their son is happy
Though they demanded a good dowry
A fridge,a t.v,a washing machine for their stomach which were roaring
Girl's parents were kind
And they didn't mind
While selling the last plot on which the stomach of four relied
everyone enjoyed, every core they ate
But girl's father didn't have a good fate
He went through loans
And did everything that was possible for old bones
Still boy's parents were witty
And demanded something special in whole city
Their stomachs roared like that of monsters
But girl's parents died with utter silence and took their lives which were even costlier
