Digimon Frontier 2 : Hope Arising

Part 1

Kouji's P.O.V
I woke up from the dream with a gasp. I looked around me wildly. That......was so weird. What was Lucemon doing there? I thought we defeated him at least two years ago! And that girl......what does Lucemon mean by 'Legendary Warrior of the Element, Aura'?

Wait......a new element? Aura? Never heard of that before. I thought there were only ten Legendary Warriors, not eleven! And......that girl has the same last name as Kouichi! Who exactly is she? Actually, forget that question right now. I'm meeting her today, anyways, with Kouichi.

I sat up with a yawn and swung my legs from my bed. As much as I hate to leave this bed so I can sleep in, I need to hurry. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to change. After that, I went downstairs. Mother and Father were sitting down at the table.

They both looked up and looked shock at my appearance. I usually don't wake up this early, so I guess there's a first time for everything. Father looked at me in surprise and smiled. "Good morning, Kouji. Where are you off for today?"

"To see my friends," I answered. What? At least it wasn't that much of a lie........okay, maybe it is. I mean like, would your parents believe you that you saw your long lost twin brother in a dream, and saved a girl in a dream and meets her in real life with your brother? I don't think so.

"Be safe, alright?" said Mother. I nodded. I grabbed my jacket, slipped it on, and opened the door. As I opened the door, I was met with water sprayed in my face. Rubbing my eyes and wiped my face clean from water, I saw Takuya laughing his butt off with the rest of my friends.

I glared at him. "Takuya......."

"O-Oh, my god," Takuya laughed, "d-did you s-see your face?! It was priceless!!"

"Do you want to know what's going to be priceless, Takuya?" I asked, plastering a fake smile at him. "Me punching you in your face for spraying water in my face."

"Woah, Kouji, calm down. I was just teasing you!"

"It doesn't seem like you were teasing me," I huffed. Takuya just rolled his eyes at me. Zoe, Tommy and J.P. glanced pathetically at me. I do not need my friends to splash water right in my face this early in the morning, especially from Takuya.

I looked around, and someone seems to be missing. "Where's Kouichi?"

"We were going to pick him up," answered Zoe, glancing at Takuya, "but Takuya convinced us that we need to pick on you first."

"Hey!" protested Takuya. "That's mean, Zoe!"

Zoe rolled her eyes. "Whatever."

I had to smile. Zoe always makes Takuya whine, pout, protest, you name it. But at the same time, she can do it to us, too, which makes us more terrified of her than Lucemon. Literally, the question I've been asking myself is: what is wrong with girls like her? I really have no answer for that.

"Let's just go and pick up Kouichi," said Tommy, trying to distract us. Yeah, we really need to.

Kouichi's P.O.V
I groaned at the sound of someone yelling in my ear to wake up. I don't want to. I blinked open my eyes, and saw the face of my brother standing over me. "What the-?!" I jumped and banged my head against him. "Kouji!"

"Ow!" he complained, rubbing his head. "Kouichi, you seriously had to do that?"

"It doesn't mean that you have to wake me up by screaming in my ear!" I retorted. I glanced at the time. 9:15?! I slept in?! "Kouji, what time did you wake up?"

"8:45," Kouji answered, "why?"

I groaned again, and flipped off my covers. I usually woke up at 8:15! What is wrong with me today?! Oh, yeah, the dream from last night. That girl.......she looks like me and Kouji. Not to mention that Lucemon was after her for some reason.

And the Legendary Warrior of Aura? No, way. There's a new element that we don't even know about? You mean that there's more Legendary Warriors out there? How many are there?! Do we need to find them all?

"Kouichi?" Kouji asked, looking worried for me.

I smiled reassuringly at him. "I'm fine, Kouji. Don't we need to meet Kinu today?"

"With everyone else? Yeah, most definitely." I looked out the window. Maybe we are going to be in a new adventure.

Normal P.O.V
Lucemon glared at the small army he gathered. He stood up, and went to a mysterious Digimon. "Have you found the Forgotten Warriors?"

"Lucemon, we did," growled the Digimon, "but they're all in the Human World."

"I found one, only. The Forgotten Warrior of Aura. We need to get her, before the DigiDestined, and possibly, the other three Lost Elements."

Ophanimon looked outside her castle. She heard footsteps, and turned around. Cherubimon and Seraphimon stood behind her. "Have we found one of the Forgotten Warriors?" she asked, turning back to the scenery.

"Only one," answered Seraphimon. "The other Forgotten Warriors are yet to be seen."

"Forgotten Warrior of Aura," murmured Ophanimon, "also known as the Legendary Warrior of Aura, and the Warrior of Balance. Which side are you going to choose? The light, the darkness, or will you embrace both?"
