His phone was too bright for 2 am to most, but after becoming a full time fanboy, it was fine for Adrien. Besides, his early morning writing sprees had already put thick lensed glasses on his face. He really had nothing to lose when it came to eyesight.

Hiding behind screens, Adrien had thousands of people who loved him for his writing.

Since Ladybug had no known lover, his favourite thing to do was write up his own characters who could flourish in a beautiful romance with Ladybug. He gave them different personalities, descriptions, and backgrounds each time.

(He was only mildly jealous of his characters.)

Once, he had created cleverly created a superhero duo between Ladybug and a hero called Chat Noir. Since the ladybug is a symbol of luck, and black cats are superstitiously known to be bad luck, he thought it would be a nice "opposites attract" story.

Since none of Adrien's readers knew who he really was, he was subtle in adding blonde hair to his new hero, and meshing his own personality with the brand new personality of Chat Noir. It made him feel like he was Chat Noir in a way. For once, he could be Ladybug's lover.

But only in his imagination.

Because truly, he was just another head in the crowd.
