Chapter 1: Caitlin's POV

"OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!" said my over excited BFF Livvy, "I can't believe you got 2 free tickets to go and see 1D!!! Oh please can I come? Please please please? I'm begging you!!!" "Maybe," I said "but don't keep your hopes up."

After what happened over the holidays I wasn't in an excited mood! This thing was so serious it made me find 1D EMBARRASSING!!! I wasn't going to tell anyone my secret as I knew it would spread like the flu, I wasn't even going to tell my BFFs!

"Why can't you tell me NOW?" said Livvy, once again complaining about my answer. "Because I might want to take someone else." I said. This made Livvy so angry that she stormed off so I decided to go to MATHS (mental abuse to humans.) When I got there I saw Niamh (my other BFF) and went to go and sit next to her but just before I sat down Dan Howel (one of the hottest guys in the school) sat down in my place and started to flirt with her. Of course she didn't mind as ,like many other girls , she has had a burning crush on him since before the dinosaurs were around!

After maths I waited for Niamh so I could walk out with her. While we were walking she said "what's wrong?"At first I was confused but then I remembered that Niamh was some sort of mind reader who I have known since before I can even remember so she knew what I was thinking when I was thinking it! Then she said the worst 9 words anyone could ever say to me today' " have you told Livvy about your new dad yet?"

When I got home my dad was so DEAD!!!!!!
