Mr. Delacour seemed to think that choosing Etienne as a tutor was a good idea. On my part, I couldn't have thought of a worse one...
"So what do you think, Mademoiselle?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. " Etienne has excellent grades and is an exemplary student, you could learn a lot from him. Besides, french is his second language."
I turned to face Etienne, sitting on MY table, again. He smiled, clearly satisfied. Gross.
"Well, sir, when you talked about a tutor, I thought you meant an other teacher or an older student." I was trying really hard to get out of this twisted idea of his.
"Oh! No worries!" He chuckled, which was not pleasant to watch. "Etienne has a far better level than any student in this school."
Ugh. I was stuck. I guess there was only one thing left to do: nod and kill Etienne.
"Thank you sir." I added before facing Etienne again. "Just so we're clear this is my table, find your own."
"I'm good here, but thanks!" He leaned on the back of his chair and crossed his arms. "So I'll see you Friday, after your little show?"
"My little show?"
He shrugged. "Yeah you know, cheerleading. C'mon! You can't be doing this for another reason but attracting the attention, on you and your freakishly little legs." He motioned towards my legs.
"I actually happen to like cheerleading and..."
"Whatever, I don't actually care." He cutted me off. " So Friday, at the library?"
"What about Saturday, my house?" I asked with total lack of interest.
"Your house? Why?" He was surprised.
"Oh Etienne," I began in a soft voice. "There is absolutely no way of me going into a public place with you."
He nodded. He understood that I still thought that he was lame and that I had no intention of being his BFF.
I shrugged. This day started worse than expected, but I couldn't let that drag my spirits down. Why?
Because today, was Humiliation Day.
.-.
Every once in a while, I decided it was Humiliation Day. It was basically a day where I humiliated someone who has deserved it, well at least they did most of the time... I gathered information on them, from people who'll do anything to speak to me, turned that information to make it look bad and finally publicly announced it. Great idea, right? It was actually one of my own creation...
Today's lucky target was Mia Labroski. A foolish nerd that believed it was smart to refuse to make my english essay. She had always been on of my mignons but this time she rebelled. Big mistake, that she will soon regret.
At lunch, I entered the cafeteria, my crew behind. We sat at our usual table. I waited a few minutes, to make sure the area was full and many people could hear. Then, I slowly got up, my eyes fixed on Mia. Oh she knew what was coming. I could suddenly feel the fear rise in her eyes and her body instantly froze. I sniggered.
I got up on my chair and continued my way onto the table. The girls quickly removed their bags and tray, leaving me the space to wake up and down, like on a runway. The excitement escalated quickly, tickling my senses. Gosh! I've missed this!
A cruel smile grew wide on my face as I turned to face the students beneath me.
"Ladies and gentleman, if I may have your attention!" The attention was already on me since I got up, but this was a show, so might as well entertain them. "Today, I have to talk to you about a very serious matter. A matter that concerns us all." I locked my eyes in with Mia's as I say:"Mia Labroski." I started to pace back and forth on the table. "You see, Mia is a lonely girl and has only one friend. A nerd without a doubt. But anyways, her friend and her, both had a crush on Toby Sunmore." I nodded at Toby, a dear friend of mine, who was more than happy to tell me how Mia declared her love. "Like any true friend, they decided to keep this quiet and none of them would 'try' anything with Toby."
I giggled once again and a few followers giggled with me.
"But Mia wasn't satisfied with that. She had to have Toby for herself. Or maybe, she actually believed she had a chance." Everyone bursted into laughter. I guess we all knew she never stood a chance with Toby. "Please, please settle down. We haven't come to the best part yet." I smirked. "So sweet little Mia slipped a note in Toby's locker, asking him to meet her after school. He never actually met her on that day, but there are a few cute picture on the internet of her waiting for him, a note in one hand and chocolates in the other!"
Toby had been smart enough to tell his friends about the rendez-vous and one of them had decided to check for himself. It hadn't been hard to convince him to post the pictures. People now got out their phone searching for the images.
"If it hadn't been bad enough that Mia wore thick glasses and Hello Kitty underwear, she is now a traitor." I turned to face Mia and get down of my perch, walking towards her. Her friend's eyes are literally sending lightnings at Mia, while hers are locked on mine, terrified. "Or did you tell her? Did you tell your little friend about your plan or did you act like a coward and kept it silent?"
Her lips moved but the words died as soon as it escaped her lips.
"What was that?" I leaned so close to her that my face nearly touched hers. "No?" I faked surprise in my voice, pushing her over the edge. "Well I guess it was time for her to know, don't you think?"
"Bitch!" she murmured.
"Oh what was that now?" I'm not really surprised of this insult. Not like it was my first time!
"Bitch!" She screamed this time.
"Oh now now, honey. I'm the bitch when you're the one trying to get the boy that your best friend has been pining for?"
In the scrapping of a chair, poor little Mia ran out of the caf. The worse thing? Her only friend didn't even go after her. A smirk was stuck to my lips.
A boy from the football team started clapping. A few minutes later, the whole cafeteria was applauding as I sat next my friends again. They enjoyed this as much as me, I could tell, but I could also see a cold fear creeping in their eyes. Good!
I leaned back on my chair, admiring what I'd just done. Girls were already bitching about Mia, boys were asking Toby for details and even the lunch ladies were whispering amongst each other.
And then, some wondered why they called me 'The Queen'.
There! That's it for this chapter! Wow I'm actually enjoying writing from Ariana's point of view! I mean, I don't want to be a total idiot and rule over school, but I think that sometimes, we shouldn't be scared of telling people what they truly are. (OK Mia probably wasn't that bad, but you get what I mean) It's about having the confidence and courage to say : HEY YOU'RE ACTING LIKE A DOUCHE! Through Ariana I can do that, exaggerated by a 100'000!
But serious, guys keep it cool. Don't turn evil.
If you can't see chapter 4 please let me know!
