-------------------------------------------------------------As people shrieked and gasped,i had millions of thoughts spinning in my head. All of this was happening too fast, first my father and then my mother
Wait.....my mother was still ali-
.
.
.A crimson red,it was fresh, and the scent was all to familiar.A piercing scream enough to make you fear for your life, wondering if you would be the next one to scream shortly.A sword pierced through my mothers chest with no warning. No reassurance. All i could see her feel was utter agony. The guards ushered people back but i was lost in space refusing to move.I was terrified
I didnt know what would happen to me or how I was going to deal with my loss.A shove to the sholder broke me out of my thoughts as I was disoriented.I forgot the time, where I was,who was around me.All I could see was silver and red.The same silver that was behind my mother, the same silver that pierced through her body, and the same sickening crimson red that poured from her chest and my fathers head.I now hated these colors.
"...." I couldnt understand what anyone was saying.I couldnt understand what was going on either.I saw those silver guards taking my parents away,I wanted to reach out to them.I wanted to feel their warmth against my body,to have one last meal with them,to tell them that I loved them one more time.
But I couldn't.Their beautiful eyes were never to be opened by their own will again.I would never hear their laughs,I could never hide in their bed to make the monsters under mine disappear. Now I knew who the real monsters were.
Another shove, but this time I stumbled back and fell to the floor.Unable to hide the tears I was holding I began to sob.The guards were gone and no one realized the sad girl that was hidden in the crowd.
I was all alone.
"Get up"
What
"Hey get up already"a deep voice said.
I looked up and saw a man.A man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes.Beautiful hazel eyes,a white toothy smile. That smile was all to familiar,it was my fathers smile.
"its time for breakfast"he said in a welcoming voice.I jumped up from my bed and walked out of my room with my father.I jumped into the kitchen and began reading the few letters on the counter. They were from my relatives in the other town.
"Good morning Alex"my mother said, her raven colored hair becoming lighter in the sun."Morning" I responded yawning. My mother placed some cooked eggs in front of me and I began to eat.
Bang
Bang
Bang
Everything seemed to freeze. We werent expecting visitors today. My father snapped out of his daze and began to walk to the door while my mother planted herself on the seat next to me.She always had a pleasent and conforting presence but instead she was tense.I was beginnng to worry.
My father opened the door and started talking to someone. All I could see was a silver armored hand holding out a note to my father. My father took the note and shut the door.My mother got up and retrieved the note from my fathers hand and began to read it.Shortly after she closed the note and threw it on the counter with all of the letters I was reading earlier.
"Alex hurry and get dressed,we have to go somewhere"my mother ordered
"But I havent finished eating my-",i was cut off by my fathers words."Go and get dressed alex, this is important"I left my half eaten eggs on the counter and scrurried to my room putting on whatever I could find.As soon as I was finished I walked out to the kitchen,my parents werent there...
I looked at the counter once more to see the note that my mother previously had in her grip.I ignored it no matter how curious I was and ran outside where my parents were already making their way to the town square.I ran after them trying to catch up
.
.
.I was shaken out of my memories my a warm hand.
But this time,it wasnt my father
