A Day to Remember

Beep! Beep! Beep! Ugh Five more minutes. The thing that stinks is once you hear that you have to get up, you can't go back to bed after that. So I got up out of my bed and dragged my butt to the bathroom. Living in a house with nine people you don't really have the convenience of a bathroom being open at 6:00 in the morning when everyone in the house is just waking up, however it does help when you have 5 bathrooms in the house.

As I walked to the bathroom the door was shut and locked which meant Gia, Leah, or Gabi were in there. I had a feeling Leah wasn't in there because she never locks the door and Gabi left our room at 5:30 to go get breakfast from Panera Bread because we were moving in 5 days. Since it was locked I went to my closet and threw on my navy blue dress with a brown belt around the center. I threw on my white, peek a boo, bow wedges, and headed back to the bathroom and about halfway there I fell. As I got there the door was still shut and locked, I only had 1 hour left before school starts so I had to hurry. I banged on the door, and no shock Gia opened the door only a crack saw it was me and shut the door and locked it. I yelled,"G, hurry up! I have to curl my hair."

"Hold on D, I am going as fast as I can."

"Ugh"

As she walked out I noticed something different, everything was so clean. Normally it has junked scattered everywhere. I mean when you live in a house with 2 older sisters( one only by a hour), a younger sister, a older brother, and 2 younger brothers life gets a little cray-cray. But, normally it's super messy. We were packing things up for the move. So I just assumed that Gia had taken all of her stuff, Gabi had taken all of our stuff (best part about having a twin), and Leah had taken all of her toys out of the bathtub. As for my brothers they have their own bathroom to worry about. Since Gia had just got finished curling her hair, I decided I would use hers and just plug it back in.

After I finished curling my hair, I went downstairs and grabbed my iPhone 5S with my pink diamond case( which my mom always lines up on the kitchen counter so elegantly so we remember to grab them), and headed for the car with Gabi and Gia before I heard mom yell my name. I turned around and saw her running with my cheer bag and my lunch.

"Today you have cheer practice, remember."

"Oh shoot, I totally forgot. Thanks Mom." I gave my mom a quick kiss on the cheek and headed towards Gia's white mustang convertible. School was a walking distance away, but on a day like today when me, Gabi, and Gia were wearing high heels we decided it might be safer to drive. Today is......8th grade graduation. Gabi and I are in 8th grade and Gia is a sophomore so she goes to the 8th grade graduations to tell us what being a freshman is like. Normally, a freshman would give the speech but Gia won the vote since she is valedictorian( overachiever). My whole family is going to be there.

As we arrived I saw my loyal boyfriend Austin, he was dressed in a black suit with a navy blue tie(to match my dress of course) but I knew he wouldn't be in that suit much longer. His parents think he is this preppy nerd who does great in school. Well that's not the case, at least not the whole case. He is smart and gets A's and B's in every class but what they don't know is that he is dating the captain of the cheerleading team(me), he's the captain of the football team or even that he is ON the football team.He asked his mom to sign a physics club form and the copied it down on the football application so every night there is a game he says he is at physics.

So anyway I knew he wouldn't be in that suit for graduation. He would go into the bathroom and change into his football jersey since it was football Friday. His last name is also close to mine which meant that that we would sit next to each other, but be called for different things.

As Gabi, Gia, and I were walking into the school we noticed something was different. The gym had papers all over it with the names if the graduating students from all over the years the school has been around. Granted the school has only been around for 4 years but that's about 1600 students plus all of our names were on there too.

The gym was set up like a line you would walk up, shake hands, get your diploma, then see if you won any medals, take a bow, and walk off. Gabi and I sat down in our assigned seats mine next to Austin ( of course ) and Gabi on my other side. They called Austin and I was ready until they said this.

"Daniella Victor."

For those of you who don't know, I prefer to go by Dani not Daniella.

I went up and shook a bunch of people's hands, got my diploma, and walked over to the medals and won 4, best dressed, prettiest eyes, most preppy, and most likely to have twin powers(hahahahahahahaha). I looked out into the audience to see if I could see my family. I found them pretty quickly.
