It February 2nd, 2017 and of course, majorette practice was a must, since it was also a Thursday. Kayla was unprepared to go, throwing random clothing together as she bounded downstairs and out to her parent's car. Getting in the passenger seat, she zoned out, thinking of a jumble of different things, ranging from K-Pop to existing in general.
Kayla was abruptly brought out of her thoughts as the car stopped. Her mom, Melissa, and she had arrived at Walmart. They had to buy three things; a set of jewelry for the Snowball Dance, a phone card, and drinks. Quickly, they checked out upon finally grabbing the items.
Assuming the same positions in the car, Melissa sped off to the church where practice was being held at, as per usual. As she drove, Kayla was fidgeting with her coffee's seal. Just as they arrived at the church, Kayla had managed to finally get the seal and lid off of her coffee.
Melissa and Kayla were about ten minutes early, so Kayla took the opportunity to inhale a decent bit of her coffee before her mother started getting out of the car. Kayla screamed internally and reluctantly got out of the car, grabbing her gym bag full of random items and her two costumes, which were the Munchkin and an Emerald City person.
With a groan, Kayla took another swig of her coffee as he followed her already ahead mother inside the church.
