We are in the kazekages office being briefed on the mission in Konoha. I can't help but glance at my brother. Ever since then, he's never been the same. He's changed. He's so cold...
"Koishi. Pay attention." A hard voice commands.
"Yes! Sorry sir.." I bow and hear Kankuro snicker.

"Koishi. I want you to sit this one out." I turn to see Baki-sensei.
"But I can't. I need to be there. I can't sit it out."
After a while, he sighs.
"Stay close to Temari and Kankuro." He says reluctantly.
"Thank you sensei. I have to go now. Bye!" I bow and run to join my siblings.

"Alright! Let's go!" I shout as I march to the gates.
"Do you even know where you're going?"
"Not a clue!"
Kankuro laughs at this but immediately silences when Gaara starts walking. The rest of us trailing behind.

"How... much....... longer...?" I pant.
"Not much farther. You'll make it. Just hang on." Temari assures as she hands me her water bottle.
I drink it down and thank her as I pass it back.
"Are you sure it was a good idea to bring her?" Kankuro asks quietly.

As we reach the gates, I can't take my eyes off of the trees and greenery. It's just so.... green.
I look forward again and find I am lost. And alone.
