Chapter 1: The Head Students

Draco's girl. A dramione fanfiction

Ok so I am hooked on Dramione so I just had To write my own. So don't judge and all that, I'm not the best at grammar but I love writing!

DISCLAIMER: All characters belong to J.K Rowling but the plot is mine!

Chapter 1

It was late that evening when she walked in. Draco had been sitting and watching the fire dance, his thoughts not clear but distant.

Narcissa had looked nothing from the usual, elegant, meaningful and there was a sense of importance in her voice. Draco could feel her presence behind him, but chose to ignore it.

They were in silence for a while, before Lucius Malfoy had entered breaking this with his defying voice.

Lucius was not in the best of moods so he got straight to the point. "Draco" he begun "it has come to our attention that the Malfoy line must be preserved, to do so you shall produce a heir."

Draco groaned he had knew this was coming. He was returning to Hogwarts in the next week as all students in his year had been offered the choice to return and finish their final year.

But as his father and his grandfather before him had done he was to return with a suitable wife giving him just under a year to be free.

"However" Lucius continued

"if you do not find or choose a suitable wife, myself and your mother will choose for you"

Draco was tired and was in no mood to deal with his father. He stood up and walked out of the room leaving Narcissa and Lucius to discuss a few possible candidates for Draco.

They started with Pansy Parkinson. She was a girl from an old pure-blood family. She often spent holidays at Malfoy Manor with her family', but she was very clingy and Draco would not appreciate their choosing of her.

Another consideration was a Miss Lunar Lovegood also a pure-blood. The problem was she was a bit odd had never liked the Malfoys, so it was very unlikely she would marry one.

Narcissa and Lucius talked until the early hours of the morning, when the harsh shades of black slowly faded into the more gentle colours of morning.

Hermione woke hot and sweaty, most of her pillows had been relocated on the floor and her sheets were twisted and curled tightly around her body, yet for all her life she couldn't remember what she dreamt that had caused her to wake in such a panic.

Deciding it was nothing to worry about she got out of bed and headed towards the shower

After washing and getting dressed, Hermione allowed herself to admired her reflection looking back from her big old mirror.

Since the war, Hermione had allowed her hair to grow, and now it fell in loose ringlets, framing her face perfectly. She had chosen a set of robes that defined her curves, just that little bit more instead of hiding them. Feeling confident, she aparated to the station.

Taking her bag she ran through the wall between the numbers nine and ten entering platform 9 and three-quarters Once through who should she bump into but Draco Malfoy, her enemy for many years now.

"Granger" his signature smirk appearing on his face

"I know I'm irresistible, but please, keep your filthy mudblood hands of me"

Hermione no longer affected by the name glared at Malfoy before turning and heading for the train.

Once aboard the Hogwarts express she headed straight for the front giving Harry, Ginny and Ron an apologetic smile as she passed them.

finally reaching the front hermione slipped into the head student cabin wondering who the head boy would be. She had only been notified of her position the week before.

"Granger?" A voice asked

Hermione turned to see Malfoy standing in the doorway with a disgusted look on his pale face.

"Wonderful" she replied sarcastically

Draco was Head Boy.

This chapter wasn't very long but I'm planing for the next few to be longer :)
