(Episode One)

Barry and I walked to C.C. Jitters. We talked about our past stories of when we were younger. My favorite was when Iris, Barry and I would play hopscotch in the park then go get ice cream. I would always get Peanut Butter Fudge, Iris would get Chocolate Brownie and Barry had Mint Chocolate Chip.

"Why didn't you come home after you escaped?" He asked as we were just about a 20 feet from C.C. Jitters.

"I couldn't bring myself to do it," I spotted umbrellas hanging over tables.

"We were worried sick!" He snapped quietly.

"I know and Im sorry," I apologized, "How'd you discover your speed?" I asked, staying away from explaining how I escaped the man who kidnapped me.

"I was at C.C. Jitters to see Iris and then, when a lady dropped a platter of dishes, time slowed down then went back to its normal pace. I also saw a man at the station who was being put under arrest, trying to sneak a gun but somehow I had stopped him," He stated. "How about you?"

"Mine's not nearly as exciting as yours but I was just walking around the cortex to stretch my legs. But then my body was being thrown from wall to wall. I was going so fast that time seemed to have slowed down."

"Yours sounds a lot more painful than mine." He smiled.

We were standing across the road from Jitters, then I saw a young woman with dark, black hair. She had a much darker skin tone as me and was very beautiful. Iris. She was bringing coffee to a very handsome, young, blonde haired man. She handed the man the coffee then gave him and long, disturbing kiss. My face crumpled in disgust. But Barry's face was formed with sadness. She glanced over to Barry and her face was expressing guilt.

"Go." I said.

"I can't just leave you here." He slightly smiled.

"Yes, you can. I used to live here. Remember?" I reminded him and he walked to the little café. I watched him stride with confidence but the way he looked at Iris gave me an uncomfortable feeling inside. I walked past C.C. Jitters and watched the birds fly by the cloudy sky. I had missed Central City. The noises. The traffic. I never thought I would have missed those things but I did. I saw Barry and Iris heading the same way I was. Iris looked at me with a concerned face then said something to Barry.

I suddenly heard police sirens. They were chasing after a black Mustang.
Barry and Iris were standing where one of the police cars swerved, they were going to get hit. I instantly raced to him and Iris and pushed them the opposite way of the police car. They landed on the concrete. Barry saw me with his eyes wide, warning me to leave but I didn't. Iris' face was towards the ground so she didn't see what I did.

"Get out of here!" He yelled at me telepathically.

    "No!" I snapped back.

I caught a glimpse at the driver of the Subaru. He was one of the Mardon brothers. I had heard about him and his brother. Rumors spread fast here. I heard about their ''death''. They were both known for their crazy bank robberies. Turned out they were hiding out at a farm, Joe and his partner went to go check it out, but Clyde shot Joe's partner. He and his brother escaped by a plane. This happened on the night of the Particle Accelerator explosion. Once the explosion hit their plane it crashed and it was told that they were dead. But somehow, Clyde survived. Barry and I raced after him.

"He's one of the Mardon brothers, isn't he?" I asked.

     "Yes. Clyde Mardon."

We chased after him for a good 3 seconds. Once we caught up to him, Barry smashed his arm through the passengers window and somehow was in the car. I threw my weight towards Clyde's car and I was in one of the back seats. He saw us but was shocked. His movements slowed down as he reached for his gun, located on his right hip. Barry reached for it to aim it out of harms way, while I grabbed the wheel and yanked it as hard as I could. We spun to the roof of the car. The movements caused me to hit my head on the door, making  deep gash near my right temple. Once the car was still on the ground, upside down, Barry broke a window and climbed out. I did the same. Clyde was casually walking down the road.
