Chapter 10

The next morning I hopped out of bed and packed our clothes as we were leaving today.

"Why are you up so early?" Jon asked in a husky voice

"I don't trust my sister with the kingdom, I may not want to be queen but I still care for the people in the kingdom."

Jon slowly climbed out of bed and came to help me

"Go back to sleep Jon" I said

"I'm already awake."

I gave him a kiss on the check and we walked downstairs hand in hand.

"You're awake! Please follow me." Peter said leading us to the dining room

We sat down and dug into our meals

"It's sad to see you go." Peter blurted

"Yes but I have too, we have too."

"You remind me so much of your mother."

"Lots of people say that."

"I wanted to give you something my mother used to wear"

He passed the gift to one of the guards and the guard gave it to me

I looked at the pedant he just placed in my hand

"It's gorgeous" I spoke

A man walked in the room with news

"Queen Obelyn your escort is ready"

Me and Jon stood up and walked to the carriage and sat down

We rode for about 20 minutes until I started to feel sick

I banged on the side of the carriage causing the escort to stop, I jumped out the carriage and puked on the grass.

Jon jumped out to try to help with the sickness

"Have you drunk enough?" He spoke

"Yes" I said in between my vomiting

10 minutes later I sat myself back in the carriage and we continued with our journey.

When we reached the kingdom I stepped out onto the snow, I had missed the snow.

In the afternoon I gathered all the night's watch men to give my final goodbyes to them as they were leaving tomorrow morning.

"It was great to have all of you here and it was lovely getting to know each and every one of you" I said to all of the men

"Now my sister will announce who she's going to marry"

After that was over I went to Jon to say goodbye.

"Goodbye Jon" I said

"Come with me." he spoke

"I can't I have to stay here"

"Marry me, so I can return to you"

"Okay"

"You'll marry me?"

"Yes I'll marry you."

I sent a guard to ding the bell signalling the men to come inside for a meeting or a feast.

"My sister has chosen and now it's my turn" I spoke

"I will be married to Jon, Jon Snow"

I could hear whispers coming from nearly every man.

"We are to be married by nightfall"

When the sun went down and the stars came out, we got married

"Father, Smith, Warrior, Maiden, Crone, Stranger. I am his and he is mine from this day until the end of my days" I said and Jon said the same but instead of the he it was a her.

Then we kissed.

As we pulled away

"We're married" I shouted in pure excitement

Jon picked me up as we kiss again

"I love you" I said

"I love you too." Jon answered
