Picture of Jayden above
"Get... Out," Jayden said as he pulled on my hips trying to put me out his car
"No," I shouted holding onto the steering wheel.
Jayden sighed and wrapped an arm around my hips and the other he used to grab both my arms pulling me out the car. I shouted and kicked pulling attention on us. He closed the car door and he lifted me up carrying me with one arm into the building.
"Jay stop it! I don't need to be here!" I yelled
He ignored me and continued walking. We got inside and the building was freezing not to mention quiet as hell and my tantrum just made the receptionist look at me like i'm insane.
He put me down and he wrapped his arms around me holding me in place.
"She has an appointment with Dr. Ford today" Jayden said
I wiggled and tried moving my arms from his grip failing miserably.
"I need to study babe," I said
"When you get back you can," he said.
"Have a seat he'll be with you shortly," the receptionist said
Jayden dragged me over to one of the waiting seats. I was so mad and nervous. I hated here cause I don't like telling people my problems or people finding out stuff about me, I only told one person things like that and he ended up breaking my heart so I rather just not say anything at all.
"Beatrice, you can send in the next patient," a voice said making my stomach knot
Jayden stood up and held my waist, "you'll be okay babe its just 30 minutes I'll be right in the library across the street,"
I nodded gave him a quick kiss and we parted. I made way into the room seeing the psychiatrist having her back turned to me and her face buried in a file.
I frowned confused at who this woman was, she certainly was not a 6ft tall white old vet with shaky hands and mints, everywhere.
As i looked around and really took everything in i noticed there weren't any mints, there were two jars one filled with chocolates and another with what seems like skittles. The decor was different. No more of that old leather recliner and beat up leather love seat
There was a long comfy cloud-like white recliner and two bean bag seats one in pink the other in green. There was a long sectional with cushions and plushies decorating it. In between the sectional and recliner was a cute little coffee table. It was decorated with plants and splashes of color here and there.
"I'll be right with you," she said not turning
I kicked my legs back and started playing with my bracelets and stared at ceiling of the office.
"Im sorry, you're Celeste Andrews right?" She asked
I scoffed and looked at her though her back was still turned to me, "who the hell even are you? Im supposed to be here with Dr. Ford not some random, isnt shit like this illegal? " I ask
She walked over to the couch and sat down with a file and a giant clipboard in hand,
"I am Dr. Ford," she said earning a frown for me i opened my mouth to tell her that last i checked Dr. Ford was a white old man with shaky hands who reeked of mints
"You probably mean my father though," she smiled, "he retired last week you should've been informed by email and direct mail that you'd be getting a new therapist though."
She opened the file again and looked over something, her curls fell as she looked down, "is the 8454 number still a good number for you ? I did try calling you the week before as well as earlier in the week to remind you of the changes" she looked up at me her green eyes just like Ford senior, soft yet they scream don't play with me.
