Part 1-Gotta Keep A Tunnel Vision

"Put those ballons in the corner by the dj." I said rushing to get the party all set. Checking off the my check list all I had to do now was get ready then tell Brandon to get his ass over here. "Your in charge for now Lily Im counting on you, your my bestfriend and Im counting on you" I said then rushed to my car.

I got in my car and drove off to my house to get ready. I turned on the radio and "Tunnel Vision" came on. Like this is dead my song. "Ready, ready'ready. "They dont like to see you winnin. They wanna see in a petition. I need me a little baby who gonna listen. Girl i dont wanna be the one you iggin. My momma told me to make a decision. But I gotta keep a tunnel vision"I sang. A car ran the red light and almost made my car flip over but I pressed on the brakes just in time.

Well that was the first time for that. When I got inside the house I went straight for the couch. Tbh I am a serious couch potato but everyone in my family was too. I got up after a much needed nap and went upstairs.

Once I got into my bedroom I got undressed and hopped into the shower. My clothes were already picked out 3 weeks prior to this very special day. Today was my 2 year anniversary for Brandon and I's relationship. Im more of a party animal while Brandon just wanted to spend the night together just the two of us. He said that he had wanted to tell me something but I told him to just tell me at the party.

When I got into the shower I turned the handle to the left and let the hot water fall onto my skin. It was just so relaxing as the water was a way to rinse all the negativity off and enjoy all the positivity. As cheesy as that sounde it was true. When I got out of the shower I wrapped the towel around my small frame shivering from the cold air hitting my sensitive skin.

I quickly got dressed wanting to get rid of the goosebumps on my arms. I was wearing a sky blue dress that landed right above my knee. It showed the right amount of cleavage without being to revealing. Paired with a pair of platinum white heels that matched my platinum white accessories. I was impressed by how my makeup looked seeing as I wasnt really a professional in that area. I had a smokey look finished off with a dark purple lip stain.

Looking at my phone screen as it lite up I saw that I had one unread message from Brandon. I walked over to my dresser where my phone layed on and picked up my phone putting my password in unlocking it. Openimg the message it said "The party had started where are you my love.". My heart fluttered as I read my love. It would never get old as long as it came from him.

I put a jacket on and placed my phone in my purse and headed out the door and back into my car. I drived away from my house and smiled as I headed to Brandons house.

I turned the radio to be greeted with one of my favorite songs "Timeless". I didnt sing along because I was to focused on the road being the responsible person I was...sometimes. I pulled up to his huge house and smiled as I got out of my car and approached the house looking at the backyard lights making the sky look colorful. I opened the door feeling great totally oblivious to the thought that it would be the worst day of my life.

So how was the first chapter. Im actually really excited for this book. Ok goodbye off to write the next chapter.
