Chapter 5

The door opened a guard came in. He held a pear in one hand and was in a state of confusion about what i was trying to do. He told that the grand master wanted me.Without any disobedience i stood up and followed him. He took me through a giant hallway into a tall tower. It must be the pinnacle of the castle. We went up a spiraling stairway until what seemed like infinity. Finally , we reached a huge door. A small opening was made through which 2 curious eyes observed us. The guard said, " I have brought him as the master ordered".Then the door opened with a loud creaking noise.I stepped inside and the scene there shook me to the core.

It was as if some ritual was taking place. Everyone was dressed in black hooded robes and the only lighting was the one which came from thousands of candles around us.All these hooded figures were whispering some stanzas in some ancient language.All this made me fell very creepy. Then i saw her.She was standing at one corner of the room with her hands bound . There was a guard beside her with his sword drawn . But in the eyes of Sameera , I could not see fear.The only thing i could see as anger and vengeance.Then she glimpsed at me and tried to convey something. Before i could focus on that my concentration was shattered by loud chanting erupting from the center of the room. There were 8 hooded figures standing in a close circle and chanting hymns. It was as if they were possessed. I recognized 2 of them as my uncle and the one who attacked me at the field. I could still remember his powerful blow. Then suddenly, there purple smoke around the circle and it went away as quickly as it had come. Then everyone in the room started cheering. Then my uncle, or THE GRAND MASTER as they referred him climbed onto a platform. He lifted his hand into a gesture and the room went into dead silence. He started " Today i have spoken with our lord. He is our supreme power. Only he can take this world in a right path. But he can only do that by dwelling in us.Our lord has been unjustly locked away in the depths of the darkest void by our ignorant ancestors. He has been waiting for me and my council since then. It is time for us to undo the mistakes of our ancestors and be the beacon holders of today's world. We now have the tools to release but we are waiting for our chances to strike. His sword and shield have been taken away by my very own ancestor and when we were on the verge of acquiring them they were transported to some other place by my brother. When we find these weapons and them to our lord when he rises, we can get rid of that bloody camp once and for all. But today i cannot do this alone . Today my Viraj will do this task for me. Only he can bring us the sword and only we together can realize its location.So now" ending his speech he descended the stage and strode towards me. I was untied but was held strongly by three men in robes. I struggled but realized that it was futile.Then he touched me and suddenly random thoughts came into my mind . I could see a castle on a big hill, some snow covered mountains,a full moon, a sword , a thick forest, some beasts and then it was gone. I was hazed and i stood there blankly staring at my uncle. He too looked the same way.He suddenly shouted " We have found them". Then i heard Sameera shout"Noooooooo" and then there was another bang on my head and i blacked out.Oh! I was starting to hate those blackouts.

Elsewhere the group was moving through a thick forest silently. Vatsu broke the silence by saying " I don't feel this is right. We should have consulted our oracle before we came on this mission". Then Kittu said " Sravani would not be able to give any advice on this trip. She herself is in a confused state". Then Surya replied " Also this mission should not be delayed.The more time we waste, the more doom we bring to our camp". Then the elderly man spoke with a mysterious voice. He said " Yes. We have to find our enemy , the controller of the elements and kill him before he gets hold of the sword

BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT I WAS THE CONTROLLER OF THE ELEMENTS AS I COULD SUMMON FLAMES
