I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I rubbed my eyes and reached for my phone. I pull down to see all my notifications. 4 missed and at lease 25 messages saying,
Max you potato you over slept once again so get up you lazy shit I'll be at yours in 10 x

I got out of my bed got in shower put on my Spotify playlist on and was singing in the shower then I heard the doorbell it had to be jayy. I quickly rushed out the shower and put my towel on. There was a nock at my bedroom door who is it?
" it's Pizza Hut express can I come in" oh i don't remember ordering any pizza but come in. As she walks in I can't help but stare at her she is beautiful. "max you're acting like you've never seen me before are you okay or something?" huh....what....of course Im fine Jayy I should get changed. "Yh I think you should, I'll be down stairs if you need me" you can stay up here if you want. "Nah it's fine, just hurry up or I'll leave you" okay mum. "Uggh" she walks out of my room, God I love her too bits I really like her. I quickly get changed do my hair and head down stairs to my kitchen where's jayy was sitting talking too holly about something but idk what it was. You ready jayy? "Yh I'm ready lets go"
Jayyy's PoV
We walk to school same as usual until max touched my hand trying to hold my hand I flinched. "sorry is it okay if we walk to school holding hands" Yh it's fine. I don't know what was happening does he like me or something nah he can't it might ruin our friendship the thoughts kept playing over and over in my head until I heard a ping it was an insta notification

I follow him back he's actually peng still. "Who's that" I don't know some guy called aj but i don't know him. "oh okay" as we walk into form I quickly turn my phone on silent and slip it into my blazer pocket I went to sit down at my table when suddenly Mr carries walks in and tells me hand out the books as I walk into the cupboard to get the books I hear him talking about two new students one named aj brie and the other named Lucas keech as I hand out the books on each table I hoping I don't make a fool out of my self as I walk to the next table Charlotte sticks her leg out which I fall over right in front of the new boy I hear everyone laughing at me especially the other new boy and mr carries "omg are you okay" Yh I'm fine sorry I just made a complete fool of my self infront of you. He helps me too my feet. Thank you "your welcome btw what's your name?" Before I could answer mr carries interrupted me "jayy if you don't get back to handing out the books instead of flirting with Aj you'll owe me your break times for a weak. I walk over to Max's table he's looks annoyed at me. Max are you okay "Yh I'm fine" are you sure. "Yes I just said that I'm fine" i got to the next table then i go to my table. I hear footsteps coming towards me and I looked up. "So your name is Jayyy" Yh sorry it is. We just sat there talking for ages max looked at me a couple times but then stopped have I done something wrong.
Max's pov
We walked into form together then suddenly Mr carries walked in and told jayy to hand out the books I don't think he likes her that much he's always making her do stuff for him. Two new boys walk into the classroom. "Everyone this is Aj Brie and Lucas keech I was looking at Lucas until jayy trips over Charlotte's leg and lands straight underneath Aj I feel my self burn up with anger and jealousy everyone is laughing apart from me and Aj. "Jayy if you don't stop flirting with Aj you're gonna owe me your break time this week" she walks over to my table acting like nothing happened. "Max are you okay" I'm fine "are you sure" yes I just said I'm fine she walks away I feel really guilty I turn around to see if she's okay she must be more than okay because she talking and smiling at Aj this got me more angry.
Aj's pov
It's the first day at my new school I've moved so many time round the country I hope this would be permanent. I check my insta as I scroll through explore I see this beautiful girl I requested to follow her. She accepts really quickly. I hurry up and get to school I'm shown to my new form room with this other boy. Hey I'm Aj "hey I'm Lucas nice to meet you" we walk into form when I'm just starting at the girl from Instagram she's beautiful. I stop staring to look around the room everyone looks decent I guess the from girl Instagram was handing out the books when a girl sticks her leg out on purpose and she trips and lands right in front of me everyone was laughing except from me and her boyfriend. Omg are you okay "Yh I'm sorry I just made a complete fool of my self infront of you" I help her to her feet it's fine anyway what's your name "my name is" the teacher rudely cut her off. "Jayyy if you don't stop flirting with Aj your going to owe me all your break times for a week" she Carries on handing out the books when she reaches her boyfriend's table he looks kinda pissed "boys sit anywhere you want just hurry up" I walk over to Jayyy's table her head is on the table I think she's crying. So your names jayy then she lifts her head off the table "huh...um...Yh sorry he cut me off" it's fine we sat there talking for ages her boy friend kept looking at us then stopped until the bell rang.
*skips the rest of school*
Jay's pov
It's the end of school I wait outside the gates for max but he doesn't turn up I look to my right where charlotte and the new boy Lucas are making out I turn away I pull out my phone and earphones so that I can listen to my music. As I start walking charlotte pins me up agains the school gates and rips out my earphones from my ears. "Hi jay how was your landing in form" let go of me charlotte I haven't done anything wrong "yes you have you existing is something that you're doing wrong" okay whatever just let me go I feel a sharp pain in my face and my side. I droop to the floor crying u saw someone hand I thought it was Max's but it wasn't it was Aj's. It's the second time today you've helped me thank you "it's fine are you hurt" just a little bit "can I walk you home" Yh sure
