Sabrina refused to move when the elevator door stopped on the seventh floor. I had to pull her out of there. She kept dragging her feet as we were getting closer to the hotel suite. This crap is wasting my time. The nosy guests looking through their peepholes are going to think I abducted Sabrina. Well, technically I did. But I don't want those people to know that.
That's exactly why I teleported us into the room. Sabrina pulled away from me, looking at the potions all over the room. Most of them were switched out with juices. That will teach Claire and Joe to play with potions to vindicate themselves.
Sabrina's wide eyes amused me. She's made potions in her basement at home. I have no idea where to go from here with Claire and Joe out of the room. This was their dumb ass idea.
"What's with all the potions? Are you doing an experiment?" she asked.
Her face has curiosity and innocence written all over it. Like these potions are the most beautiful things she's ever seen. It's cute that she thinks we would experiment with all of them. I'm drifting. Damn it.
I approached the nightstand between the two purple queen size beds. Whoever chose these colors for my dad's hotel must have been emo as hell.
I picked up the purple gothic wine goblet on the nightstand, and drank the wine. It tasted like strawberry and watermelon. Sabrina turned around, giving me a dirty look. I don't understand why. She wasn't against me drinking before. Oh right. She cleaned up her act.
The wines here don't taste like strawberry watermelon.
Why did you bring me here?
She asked that question for the third time in the 'safety' of her mind. I neglected to tell her that I can do magic with spells, like knocking down mind barriers. They're basically training wheels to me.
"I brought you here because Claire and Joe are conspiring to burn you with a hot wand for dating a guy or some other shit like that." I confessed unintentionally.
Joe is blindly going along with her plan, because he has some delusion that she is the universe and she should get her way or else. They forced me to follow suit by threatening to get me back into Wizard jail.
Little do they know, I already foiled their plan by switching out the potions with fruit juices, and hiding Claire's wand. She's very absent minded when it comes to her belongings sometimes. She'd forget where her head was if it wasn't attached to her neck.
"I can't believe that bitch. Wait 'til I see her. What does that have to with you?" she clenched her fists.
I put the glass down on the nightstand. When I turned around, Sabrina was standing right in front of me. Close enough for her to smell the potion on my breath. She gazed up at me with those innocent green eyes, waiting for an answer. I didnt even care about the possibility of Claire and Joe coming back anytime.
"They threatened to send me back to wizard jail by framing me for something." I blurt out.
This is a truth potion. I need to pour out the rest of it before someone else drinks it. Anyway, she wrapped her thin arms around my torso and snuggled her head under my chin. The scent of chocolate radiated off of her. Holding her just felt...right. I didn't want to let her go.
"Bree, I need to tell you something else."
She lifted her head up, not expecting her soft lips to touch mine. She kissed me back tenderly, arching her body closer to mine. Hearing her gasp as I sat on the bed and pulled her onto my lap kind of turned me on. Too bad the door swung open when she opened her mouth to let me taste her tongue.
Whoever just barged in here might as well leave right now. Sabrina was pretty much deepened the kiss, making me glad I somehow found the courage to express my feelings for her. Even if it was potion courage, and having her sit on my lap lead to the throbbing bulge in my pants.
"Room service. Ooh, what do have here?" a woman muttered in a Mexican accent.
Sabrina pulled away from me and stood up. I snatched up one of the black pillows and pressed it on my lap. Damn it, Sabrina.
Claire was leaning against an empty room service cart smirking. She could have just used the extra room key to get up here, instead of putting on a black maid uniform. She just loves to complicate shit. It hadn't crossed her mind how suspicious it would be for a maid to wheel around a bunch of duffel bags on a room service cart instead of cleaning.
Claire grabbed a few bottles off the shelf with one hand and gently put them on the cart. She handled the rest of them the exact same way. It would get dark by the time she's done. Too bad she's about to deliver bottles of fruit juices to the guests who upset her. When you're as self centered and sensitive as Claire, everyone can upset you. I can't wait to see her throw one of her famous bitch fits when she doesn't see the guests transforming into animals. It'll be hysterical.
"Are you gonna be done today? The guests will be asleep by the time you finish. Unless you gave yourself a manicure before you came in here and chose not to tell us." I barked.
The brat put her hand on her hip, and smiled at me in a condescending way. I thought of the things I wanted to do to wipe it right off her heavily made up face.
"Aaaw, someone cranky 'cuz he didn't get between Sabrina the bitch's legs? You can bump uglies later." she snapped.
The same brat who forced me to assist her in 'making her own karma' as she says, has the audacity to mock me? Did she forget about her plan to tie up her best friend later over a random guy? It's obvious who the most immature person in the room is. An idea popped into my mind. One that's sure to mess up everything she spent all her time planning.
"Want a drink, Goldilocks?" I grinned, pointing to the glass behind me with my thumb.
Claire rolled her eyes before strutting over here to the nightstand, as if we had an audience of more than two. She chugged the rest of the liquid. She may be a spoiled brat, but she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Meanwhile, Sabrina clenched her fists, giving her a death glare. Probably waiting for the right time to punch her in the mouth. Now would be swell.
Claire licked her lips, and moaned at the taste of the potion. Wonder what's going on in her twisted mind? Trick question, both me and Sabrina will find out soon. I swear on Merlin's life.
"What is the real reason you're delivering potions to the guests here?" I ask.
"Because I just like seeing people suffer after they act rude to me. I hate it when people are rude to me." she whined.
Tears welled up in her eyes. Not that I would ever feel sorry for her now, after all the crap she's done. It's not their fault she doesn't know how to move on from a situation like a normal person. Then again, taking your anger out on innocent people has never been normal. No matter how she tries to put it. Still, watching Claire meltdown doesn't make me laugh as much as I expected it to. I actually wanted to give her a box of Kleenex.
